In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa we talk to Peter Tabichi, a math and science teacher at a rural secondary school in Kenya and two other finalists to the, one from India and the other from Japan. Tabichi is the first African to win the $1 million Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize at a star-studded event in Dubai on 24 March. We also talk to Racheal Njoroge, the managing director of Cummins Inc. about the multimillion Power Hub facility launched in Johannesburg this week which she says is a vote of confidence Southern Africa.
