In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa, Dali Tambo describes his father’s statue that unveiled on the 19th of October as part of nationwide celebrations of Oliver Tambo’s legacy. He says the statue is an important addition to South Africa’s heritage and history. Also in the programme - Robben Island has embraced green energy as Tourism Minister Tokozile Xasa launched a solar power plant that will reduce dependence on diesel and cut costs, as part of government’s efforts to support sustainable and inclusive tourism development.
