Lliane Loots is the Artistic Director of FlatFoot Dance Company which together with the Durban Botanic Gardens are staging Park Dance #2 after a successful Park Dance #1 early in the year.

Park Dance #2 sees FlatFoot Dance Company partnering with Durban’s Kathak maestro, Manesh Naharaj to celebrate the confluence of ancient and contemporary African and Indian dance. 

She tells us audiences love to see theatre production in an open space like a park.

Jacque D'unieville is the Chief Executive Officer of Omnicane Ltd, which developed Mushishito-Rukarara Hydropower plant in Rwanda.

The plant was officially inaugurated this past weekend in the presence of prime ministers of Rwanda and Mauritius.

He says the hydropower plant is important for the two nations.
