In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa, Botswana Tourism Organisation unveils its tourism strategy on the sidelines of Meetings Africa – Africa’s biggest meetings and events trade show which just ended at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. Keitumets Setlang of BTO says the strategy entails diversifying the product to include meetings, events and conferencing in order to reduce pressure on areas that have sensitive ecosystems. Also in the programme Claude Moodley of Trade and Investment Kwazulu-Natal talks to us about its mission to Zambia to explore business opportunities this coming week.
