Today we bringing you South Africa’s Minister of Home Affairs announcing amendments to visa regulations as part of a stimulus package announced recently by President Cyril Ramaphosa to kick-start the economy. In pursuit of the African free movement agenda, 15 of the 16 member countries of SADC do not require visas to visit South Africa, with the exception of the DRC. He said of the top 10 African tourism market, only Nigeria has a visa requirement for ordinary passport holders.

Amendments to South Africa's Visa Regulations

Jacque D'unieville is the Chief Executive Officer of Omnicane Ltd, which developed Mushishito-Rukarara Hydropower plant in Rwanda.

The plant was officially inaugurated this past weekend in the presence of prime ministers of Rwanda and Mauritius.

He says the hydropower plant is important for the two nations.
