In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa, we look at ACSA’s first aviation barometer launch which has been welcomed by the International Aviation Transport Association(IATA) which made an appealed to South Africa to share it knowledge and expertise with the rest of airport companies in Africa. The barometer reports on air traffic movements through Airports Company of South Africa’s nine airports in South Africa. According to the report overall departures and arrivals increased significantly in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the same period last year.
