• The new cost of Light Rail stage 4 is $8 billion - we could build 10 new hospitals across the whole of Queensland for this
• Why would we replace Queensland built electric buses for German built trams and tram tracks built by Chinese owned government company 
• The whole fight is about the heavy rail - they need to be extended 
• In 2012 Tom Tate promised that he would have the trains extended to the airport by the 2018 Commonwealth games. 
• The reason for Tate's focus on trams is to bring high density development to Palm Beach. They will approve towers that are over height and have 3 times the amount of bedrooms allowed under the city plan
• They're going to resume a section of the beach and national park which is a koala habitat.
