Being inclusive with Elly Desmarchelier & Padma Raman

View descriptionShare

How can we ensure our workplaces are truly inclusive? Live from this year’s Future Women Leadership Summit, in this episode you'll hear from Elly Desmarchelier, a passionate disability rights campaigner who points out the many ways our society is set up to segregate the one in five Australians with disability. Elly's thought-provoking speech provides a framework in which leaders should be thinking about how we consider inclusivity and intersectionality in both our workplaces and social circles. The second speaker is Padma Raman, CEO of Australia's National Research Organisation for Women's Safety, and proud South Asian woman who shares the best way to call out discriminatory behaviour and the importance of staying vigilant to ensure that people’s rights are being respected at work.

Please note, this episode contains references to sexual assault and abuse of people living with a disability, which may be upsetting to listeners.
