Tigress is an absolutely loving female tabby about 1.5 yrs old.  She delivered 5 babies shortly after coming in, but none of them survived.  She loves people and craves attention.  She does better on her own, but she loved being "mama" to foster kittens.  She does well around dogs once she gets to know them and tells them who is really in charge.  Tigress is with Animal Aid of Southwestern Michigan.  To apply online, simply go to our website,  animalaidswmi.org, click her profile and click the “apply for adoption” button or call 269-934-7729 for more information.   

Some other notes:

• We have adoption events every Sunday at FuzzyButz Pet Bakery in downtown St Joseph 1-3pm, and every other weekend (including this Sunday) at the Bridgman Open Air Market (In the United Credit Union Parking lot on the corner of Red Arrow and Lake).  We also have upcoming Kitten Yoga through the Lincoln Township Public Library, our Annual Yard Sale fundraiser, and more!  Watch our website and facebook group page for details.
• I would be remiss if I didn't remind listeners that Animal Aid operates completely on donations, and we have had many sick cats and dogs come in this year.  We would really appreciate any donations to help us with these costs.  We've adopted out over 100 animals locally and have over 200 waiting for adoption - this makes a lot of food, litter, and medical expenses.  
• Animal Aid was just awarded a "For Good" Grant from the Berrien Community Foundation and we are going to use this to get a vehicle for Animal Aid.  One of our volunteers drove over 30,000 miles last year for us in their personal vehicle helping folks all over Southwest Michigan helping residents, our volunteers, and other rescue organizations.  We are in the process of searching for a safe, reliable vehicle and trailer that we can use going forward to meet the many needs of our community.  If you would like to contribute toward this purchase or the ongoing expenses that come along with this it, please reach out to Becky or Darryl.  (Reminder that Animal Aid of Southwestern Michigan is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible).  If listeners donated, even $1 per month, it would go a long way to helping us help everyone in our community.
