We're now at the end of the grain chain and George is re-capping everything that we've learnt. There's a lot of work that goes into making just one loaf of bread!

George is learning all about the harvest festival that celerbates a successful crop. He finds out about how the harvest is celebrated all over the world!

Today, George is whizzing around the world to find out about bread. Yes, bread! George finds out about where all of our favourite kinds of breads originated from.

With all of this food talk, we forgot to learn about cooking. George will be talking you through everything you need to know so you can cook safely. 

George is back in the supermarket today and he's learning about food labels. He explains how to read the information and hwo to make sure you're making the right food choices.

George is going shopping in the supermarket for food and is trying to get foods from different food groups. George learns what foods you should eat to be healthy and what each food group does for your body.

George is learning about how grains in food are converted into energy and how they're used to keep your body healthy and functioning. 

Today, George is in his mum's kitchen and he's putting all his knowledge to the test and making a cake for his Dad's birthday. (You might even be able to pick up a few tips!)

George is back in the science lab today and he's learning all about yeast and gluten. He will be finding out how they affect the way bread is made.

After grains have been grown, milled and turned into flour they're ready to make food with. So, George is visiting a bakery to learn how flour is turned into bread and cakes. 

What happens after grains are grown? George finds out about the milling process and how it produces flour. 

George is learning all about a certain type of grain we use, wheat. Wheat is one of the most important grains we use, so, George is finding out about how wheat is grown. 

As part of his research, George has taken a piece of grain into school to look at it in the science lab. He's putting it under a microscope to take a closer look. 

George is doing research for his school project and is finding out about how grain is grown on farms and how long it takes.
