Paddington: What does it mean to you? (GWR Trackside)

View descriptionShare

Trackside is all about stories from across the Great Western Railway network and today we’re hopping off at London Paddington.

London Paddington is the terminus of the Great Western Railway mainline. It first opened in 1838.

The very first train ran from London to Taplow, near Maidenhead, that same year. Today, almost 30 trains an hour depart from the station!
