He scored two goals in 3-1 win over Union Springs/Port Byron, scored all five goals in a 5-1 win over Marathon, and scored two goals (including the game-winner) in a 3-2 overtime win over Spencer-Van Etten/Candor.

Janne finished in first place in a six-school IAC meet at Trumansburg, beating the runner-up by less than one second. The Grizzlies finish the regular season with a 16-0 mark

Wednesday, September 23, 2026: Southern Cayuga swimming's Colleen Whitten is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week, presented by Centralus Health. Colleen won two individual events at the Invitational in the Glen, helping the Falcons finish fifth overall. She won the 50 freestyle in a personal-best and school-record 24.59 seconds, while also hitting the state standard. She added a win in the 100 butterfly with a school-record and state-standard time of 1:00.39, qualifying for the state championships in the event. Whitten also helped Southern Cayuga’s 400 freestyle relay team finish third, swimming the leadoff leg.

Jasmir tallied over 200 yards of total offense and three touchdowns in a 31-30 win over Homer. He had 12 carries for 169 yards and two touchdowns as well as two receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown. He also forced a fumble and recovered a fumble on defense.
