Tuesday, June 17: Southern Cayuga track and field's Isabel Rossbach is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week, presented by Cayuga Health. Isabel finished in seventh place in Class C (and 18th overall) at the state championships in the pentathlon with a score of 2,794. She finished third in the shot put, fifth in the 100-meter hurdles, eighth in the 800-meter run, ninth in the long jump, and twelfth in the high jump. Additionally, she broke the school record in the pentathlon with that point tally, breaking her own record set last year with 2,644.
