Tuesday, June 7: Odessa-Montour track and field's Tori Brewster is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week, presented by Cayuga Health. Tori qualified for States with a first-place finish in the 100m (12.46) and a second-place, school record performance in the 200m (26.03) meeting the standard to qualify in the event.

Tuesday, April 23: Lansing softball's Brooklyn Walker is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week, presented by Cayuga Health. Brooklyn dove in a team-high 11 runs as she helped Bobcats go 5-0 last week, all against divisional opponents. Across their three-game series against Dryden, she went 5-for-7 at the plate with five RBIs. Then in a doubleheader sweep over Whitney Point, she went 5-for-7 again with six RBIs.

Brooklyn dove in a team-high 11 runs as she helped Bobcats go 5-0 last week, all against divisional opponents. Tuesday, April 23: Trumansburg baseball's Garret Potter is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week, presented by Cayuga Health. Garret excelled both on the mound and at the plate to help the Blue Raiders go 4-0 last week. He threw two complete games, first against Whitney Point by tossing a one-hit shutout and striking out 14 batters, then against Elmira-Notre Dame by allowing one unearned run and striking out 11. In the two games he didn't pitch, he went a combined 3-for-5 with two RBIs and a run.

David won the triple jump and long jump while placing second in the 400-meter hurdles and third in the high jump across wins over Tioga and Candor. He also won the triple jump at the NY/PA Invitational.
