Tuesday, October 10: Newark Valley cross country's Harley Switzer is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week, presented by Cayuga Health. Harley won the IAC South Division meet with a time of 23:07.2, finishing a full 37 seconds ahead of the runner-up and helped the Cardinals win the team title. She then finished in 14th place at the Bob Greene/Newark Valley Invitational with a time of 21:47.
