Wednesday, March 20: Moravia basketball's Kyler Proper is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week, presented by Cayuga Health. Kyler scored a game-high 21 points in a 56-45 win over Lyons in the NYS Class C semifinals, then put up a team-high 11 points (including 3 big 3-pointers) in a 41-38 win over Haldane in the NYS Class C Championship, helping the Blue Devils win their second state title and their first since 2017. He was also named Tournament MVP for his performances.
