Tuesday, October 1: Lansing swimming's Vanessa Downey is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week. Vanessa won all four events she competed in to help the Bobcats defeat Dryden 92-78. She placed first in two individual events - the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke - and two relay events - the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.
