Tuesday, April 30: Ithaca track and field's Crosby Woods is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week, presented by Cayuga Health. Crosby won the 3,200-meter run in a dual meet against Susquehanna Valley with a time of 10:20.33, then won the 1,600-meter run at the Dan Fravil Memorial Ithaca Relays with a PR of 4:38.20, helping the Little Red finish in 2nd place out of 16 teams on their home track.

Brenna went 4-for-5 at the plate and hit a walk-off, two-run triple in a 7-6 comeback win over Lansing. Earlier in the week, she drove in a pair of runs and doubled in a 21-5 win over Dryden.

Across their three-game series against Dryden, she went 5-for-7 at the plate with five RBIs. Then in a doubleheader sweep over Whitney Point, she went 5-for-7 again with six RBIs.

Brooklyn dove in a team-high 11 runs as she helped Bobcats go 5-0 last week, all against divisional opponents.
