Tuesday, October 27, 2026: Groton football's Kam McClain is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week, presented by Centralus Health. Kam threw for 351 yards and five touchdowns and added 27 yards on the ground and rushing touchdown in a 54-28 win over Trumansburg. It's the third time this season he's thrown for five TDs. In all but one game he's thrown for at least three touchdowns.

Tuesday, October 27, 2026: Southern Cayuga swimming's Colleen Whitten is ESPN Ithaca's Fueling Excellence High School Athlete of the Week, presented by Centralus Health. Colleen was named MVP at the IAC Championships after winning 4 events (50 free, 100 fly, 400 free relay, 200 medley relay) and helped the Falcons win their first-ever IAC title. She also broke her own school records in the 50 free and 100 fly and has already qualified for states in both events.

Logan recorded four total touchdowns (three rushing, one passing) in a 41-6 win over Unatego/Franklin/Unadilla Valley. He had TD rushes of six yards, 35 yards, and 20 yards, as well as a 22-yard TD pass.
