Tolunay won two singles matches across a pair of season-opening victories. He first defeated Jocelyn Marcell 6-0, 6-0 in a 5-0 win over Moravia, then beat Andre Wixson 5-7, 6-0, 6-2 in a 3-2 win over Watkins Glen.

Paige threw a perfect game with 9 strikeouts and went 4-4 at the plate and drove in 6 runs in a 14-0 win over Whitney Point, then had 1 hit and 3 walks in 15-0 win over Trumansburg, then threw a complete game shutout with 2 hits allowed and 12 strikeouts in a 5-0 win over Palmyra-Macedon.
