Well, I tell you what It's all kicking off in South Korea, where the president has declared martial law, accusing the opposition of being anti state forces and saying he was acting to protect the country from threats post by North Korea. Lawmakers quickly voted to oppose the shock declaration, but the military has back to the president. The move has alarmed the US and the country's other allies back home. Now in Victoria, a convicted murderer has abandoned plans to undergo IVF so that she could have a baby behind bars. Alisia Schiller, who stabbed a mum of three to death over fifty dollars, was given the green light to be released from prison for fertility treatment, but after widespread community outrage, she has withdrawn her application. Moving on. A new South Wales police officer who was last week found guilty of manslaughter after fatally tasering a ninety five year old woman has been sacked from the police force. Senior Constable Christian White had been suspended with pay during court proceedings, but his pay was revoked the day after the jury returned a guilty verdict. Some sad celebrity news now, Eminem's mum has died aged sixty nine after a battle with lung cancer. The pair had a pretty turbulent relationship over the years, with Debbie Nelson once suing her son over some of his life, but they appeared to have buried the hatchet recently, with Debbie sending her son a sweet message in twenty twenty two when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

One of Sir Donald Bradman's baggy greens has sold for a whopping three hundred and ninety thousand dollars at auction. The cap was worn by Bradman during the nineteen forty seven forty eight series when the Indian team played on Australian soil for the first time. The identity of the buyer has not yet been revealed.
