PANAMA CITY — The Bay County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of man shot in Panama City on Sunday.

According to a Monday press release, Jesus Ivan Barreiro-Cruz, 33, was found dead of a single gunshot wound in a van outside a trailer at 1836 N. East Avenue in Panama City.

The sheriff’s office responded to a call at about 8:15 a.m. on Sunday about an unresponsive man in a vehicle.
