Charles Bridges, 19, along with his mother, Dawn Wilkins, 40, each face charges of murder and destruction, desecration or removal of human remains in relation to the Nov. 3 death and dismemberment of Gary James Stone, Wilkins’ common-law husband of about five years. Wilkins and Bridges were arrested Nov. 9 in Gaffney. Six months later, they spoke to Herald-Journal reporter, Conor Hughes, from the Cherokee County Detention Center. In this clip, Bridges talks about his confession and arrest and states his confession shouldn't stand because he was under the influence of meth at the time. Editor's note: Some descriptions are graphic with obscene language.
