Before an accident that left her paralyzed in early 2019, Eden Welply was a singer-songwriter who worked at a coffee shop in South Austin and played shows around Texas. She recorded this song in the weeks being hit by a car on her way to class at Texas State University in San Marcos. She continues to sing and write songs, but she has not regained the ability to play guitar.
