Having become transfixed with Savannah on many visits, Jamie Credle turned her own affection for Savannah through a series of trips into becoming one of the focal points of other visitors' excursions to the Hostess City. Joining the Davenport House Museum in the early 2000s, Credle has helped shepherd the house into the 21st century with new education and outreach programs. Now, as the house looks to celebrate its 200th anniversary, Credle gives a peek into the history of the family, the house itself and historic preservation in Savannah while also looking at how things will change following the coronavirus pandemic and its effects on Savannah tourism.
