How are businesses helping Australia recover from the bushfires? (March 16, 2020)

View descriptionShare

We’re back in 2020 after what feels like an eternity. We’ve faced bushfires, a World War III threat, and now a global pandemic. Never fear though, Wavelength is here to get the facts straight.

This week we ask how do we make sure a bushfire crisis of the scale seen last summer never happens again? We interview Paul Dare, the founder of FireFlight, an innovative aerial mapping tech company from Adelaide that will soon help out in the US during California’s bushfire season. We also speak to Andrew Walker, founder of Airseed Technologies, about how his company is helping revitalise the natural landscape we lost during the bushfires.

With Coronavirus the hot topic of the moment Wavelength Explains how the pandemic is impacting our favourite music festivals around the world. And we also take a look behind the scenes of AdMental, a competition shining a light on mental health awareness.

Wavelength, sparking the convos about Adelaide you should be having. Listen live every Monday at 6pm ACST on Fresh 92.7, the Fresh website, or the Fresh app!
