It's the way that tire buying should be. And right here, it's the way that sports talk radio should be. Martin Wis's VJ Husky will take here for the next three hours. And do you know what VJ must be a Christmas miracle.
It must be. That's the only way I can figure it.
We had a close game in the NFL Round of Applause for the Cincinnati Bengals and the Denver Broncos. Finally, since Christmas Day, we've been waiting for this moment, an entertaining NFL football game.
How you like that?
How do you like that?
Have to I mean, we saw ass whoopers, we saw rainstorms. This one though back and forth to VJ, just to set the stage as this one is just now going final. The Cincinnati Bengals winning the game in overtime over the Denver Broncos.
How did we get here? You may wonder? Tell you what we got here?
First with a crazy pass from bow Nicks to Marvin Memes.
Here's what it sounded like. Fingals rush fourth, next deep drop.
Now rolls to his right, throws a ball he wants Memes in the corner of the end zone. Marvin goes up fast to catch. That's a Denver touchdown. They are stunned here at pain Course Stadium.
A twenty five yard touchdown pass Nicks to Mems.
Now that followed a sequence in which Cincinnati had the ball went down on their first in goal. They attempt to go, They want to go, try to run clock, they decide. Chase Brown stops at the one yard line, ends up hurting himself, which then causes VJ a injury timeout, which gives Denver an extra timeout which allowed them to extend that play.
And this is look and all this.
Cincinnati had a million different chances to win this game, this one probably the most degreeious. In overtime, a thirty three yard attempt from Cade York.
Yeah, the missfield goal. This attempt will be for thirty three yards and to win the game for Cincinnati. Snap placement kick on the way.
Eddy hits you upright, it is no good.
All you can do is chuckle. Really, oh man, my goodness.
And so you had the missfield goal. Then Denver with another opportunity punts again. Cincinnati comes down. T Higgins had the day of his life with just baptizing Riley Moss to the two and of three touchdowns and what is it? One hundred and thirty one yards receiving on eleven catches. Cincinnati slim playoff hopes stay alive. Denver now has to win against Kansas City in week eighteen to clinch.
A wildcard spot, DJ, where do you want to start?
Because you got the Bengals almost blowing it ended up pulling it out from behind.
You got Denver.
The bow Knicks had several, like at least two different opportunities to hit game winning touchdown passes even after that Mems one that was the game time when he missed Franklin twice.
Where do you want to start?
Well? First is always I'm going to start and welcome everybody from Fox Sports Radio listening land.
So good to be here in our normal spot. I don't even know what today is.
The only reason why I know what today is because I know him on Martin and VJ, not filling in for Richard Covino or the Gottlieb or Jason Smith and Mike harmon all the different shows this week.
So it's great to be back in our normal spot.
Man.
We appreciate all you guys out there that tune into VJ and Martin. So where all start with.
I was more surprised than this game with the Denver defense. Even though they had seven sacks, they leave the league in sacks. They had probably the best defensive line in football. They lead the NFL in sacks as far as the defensive line is concerned.
In a defensive unit, they have.
One of the shut down corners in football, which I'm a huge fan of because this is Papa played for my beloved Dolphins, mister Pat Surtain junior at Obama watching him and Chase lock up like that, Oh, school, I got you. You gotta see me all day. Not oh he only plays this side, or try to scheme him away from certain No. You let the best go against the best in the sport of football. And that's what's so great about it. And that goes back to Bama and LSU. Think about how many think about how long them two cats been going to each other. I'm pretty sure they were what some type of passing camp or receiving camp or Nike Spark camp or Gatoray campus high schoolers. These two guys have been covering and going at each other for a very long time. The seven penalties. Denver is normally a very disciplined team because Sean Payton is normally a disciplined coach, because he comes from the Bill Parcells Street, which is normally a very disciplined coach. Everybody that comes from Bill Parcels normally we're pretty disciplined as head coaches or coordinators in other places. And did not have a lot of pendies that struck an accord to me. But the defense gave up five one hundred yards today, and I thought that Cincinnati could have put this game away early. They let Denver hang around, and then you got a nail bite it down to the end. You missed a chippy field goal. In a year, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, where we are praising kickers on how easy fifty eight and fifty nine and fifty seven and fifty five look when the ball is spinning reverse but moving forward through the big h as my man a key from coming to America once told mister mcdaland.
Was, you can see this game's over. It's this is a chippy.
And he's shank upon himisses it and hits the upright, and you're like, oh god, here we go Cincinnati. It's just since it's so Cincinnati, right, if you're my age, you're old enough to watch a lot of football, it's just so Cincinnati. But then Denver can't cash in. Great game by both teams, this felt like a playoff game. I was just telling our lovely co host here, Monty Bilanos, the same thing. It's it's playoff time, man. This is this is the playoffs that's started. Because if you lose, you're out. And if you win today, if you're Denver, you're in. Now you gotta wait till next week. Leaves the door open for the Bengals, for the Coats, and for my beloved Miami Dolphins, who played at the Browns tomorrow on the late slate, a four pm game. So my takeaway was where was the defense for the four to four quarters? They only gave up seven points in the first half to the Bengals, but then things just fell apart, and you normally don't see that from this team. I thought bow Knicks played well for the best basically a rookie quarterback man in this playoff game, an essential playoff game for a rookie to play that well, Hats off to him. Hey, Sean Payne, I'm impressed what he's done with this team this year. I missed on Denver. I thought maybe five six wins, but he definitely has overshot that and overshot even with Vegas had him at But great win by the Bengals because they're still playing for a playoff berth Man, you and nine Ian you guys do that on the rundown last week what if what? And here we are? But my takeaway was Denver's defense for four quarters missing five hundred yards. That's who's including even though they got to have the bro got the seven sacks, but he can't give him five hundred yards man in a must win game.
The way I see it, I hear you on the Denver defense part where I can drill it down even closer to that, I've had it. Riley Moss on T Higgins, Well, Tea is stuff and I'm not knocking on tea.
I'm not saying he's not, but that there was. That was the matchup, that was the game.
In the second half, they exploited that left up up the left seam with the right down the middle was T Higgins on Riley Moss. Like Jamar Chase had one hundred over one two catch up along with thirty eight.
But that's on fifteen targets.
I know that sounds crazy, but Jamar Chase is gonna get his to an extent.
It's about It's.
Kind of like, what you know, you got a really great score in the NBA. They're gonna get to thirty points, right, They're gonna get to twenty five points. But do they get to twenty five points on seventeen shots or do they get the twenty five points on twenty seven shots?
Thirty shots?
Yeah?
Yeah, right.
T Higgins was eleven receptions on twelve targets.
We supposed to catch the ball.
Well, but what I'm saying, I feel you if you told the ball to Jamar Chase fifteen times and he catches nine for one o two, I would all in all consider that.
Okay, okay, yeah, you know what I'm saying. That's it's all in all, I mean, it's all right, fifteen yeah, see from see from Chase, I need thirteen catches. If you thirty four more catches.
Thirteen catches on fifteen targets, Now that's an ass Yeah right, I need that.
That's what. Yeah, I'm just saying.
If you Higgins second best receiver for Riley Moss out the backyard and said, listen here boy, you has done that to me was the story of the second half and leading up to the you know he had, he had the touchdowns and then that big thirty one yard reception in overtime.
I thought too, This.
Was the classic example of one of the things that I feel has been true of the Cincinnati Bengals for the longest time, and is that they win in spite of what's happening on the sidelines. They are all talented offensively, that they are able to just be better than other players.
One on one.
And when you can win your one on one matchups consistently, guess what, you're gonna win a hell of a lot of football games. I want to throw out there, why isn't Burrow being talked about more for.
MVP, because because that's not fair.
That is fair I'll tell you that's not fair and football, you don't play hold on, listen, I know he doesn't play on this.
Give me second, because we're gonna talk about that at ten o'clock. I'm sorry, you know, my bad. I jumped to something.
Well, okay, all right, we'll talk about it at ten o'clock.
Alright, because there's one person who is you know, has I mean, you're right, Joe Burrow not getting any love for the m v P in part because of his team record.
But one of the.
People who is getting love for the MVP absolutely should not be up for one of the other awards that you would think would be a layup, and that's that award should go to Joe Burrow.
That's what that's what that should happen.
But in this one, Joe obviously my assuming coming back because he missed so much time last year. Pardon am I am? I assuming? Was it Comeback Player the year being that he missed so much Timy, what a word are we talking about for Burrow?
No?
Oh, okay, No, the comeback player of the Year this year Herbert No, okay, JK.
Dobbins, who's played nine games in the last two years.
Comeback led the Chargers in rushing for the longest and even missed a few games this year. It's one of the top leading rushers in the NFL.
JK. Dobbins would be my vote for Comeback Player of the Year.
Okay, JK. Al Right, he's got hurt again this year though, that's the only thing miss and then he came back. Yeah, I know again, I know it came back again. Came back again, all right, So that's what he does, he comes back, I know. But I Chargers get to eleven wins. Herbert missed like what eight or nine games last year. They shut him, They ended up he ended up having the injury. They pretty much shut it down the rest of the season.
I'm not Look, we got to Martin Wise here personally, is going to just stop giving awards to quarterbacks because the team is good. Like, when I look at Justin Herbert all year, is he the reason you would say?
I'm not saying he's not the like is he a good quarterback?
Absolutely? Not taking anything away from him, But how many games would you say it's been? Oh, they won like like they've won the Tesay Bengals. The games they've won have been on the arms of Joe Burrow. That's it, period. Top the arms of Burrow, Jamar Chase and t Higgins. You look the way the defense is playing. You look at the way the rushing offense is playing, look at some of their play calling options.
It's those three guys, and that's the reason why they're winning today.
Right Well, I look.
At the Chargers.
I don't see that.
That doesn't Now, I'm not saying that that means Justin Herbert is not is incapable of doing the things that I'm.
Seeing Joe Burrow doing. He's just not.
And I'm not just gonna give him an award because you know, you want to do something else, like maybe.
The Coach of the Year.
He turned it around. I hear that conversation. Comeback player of the Year for JK. I'll hear that conversation. Even if you want to do some level of GM, I don't know. I forget the GM of the Year. It is executives, executive that they made to move off from Keenan Allen and Mike Williams and so on and so forth, that drafting guys like Lad McConkey and making them Why was she re number one?
I'd hear that the Chargers receiving yard rookie record today.
Right, I'd hear that, but like, I can't in good conscience with all of that other stuff going on, be like and that's why Justin Herberts stand. You know, That's why Justin Herberts pro bowler. That's why Justin Herberts the MVP.
He doesn't nearly have the weapons that Burrow has. We just sat here last night. You said their offense is limited and he's the quarterback that's gonna lead them to eleven wins. And it should it be Casey at least one of these times. Going to road today put up a forty burger. I just for all the time he missed last year to come back and then flip it around like that. I understand about JK, but he didn't miss time again this year. Burrow's gone through the high Engle sprain and the shoulder and it missed no time.
I would love to see him as.
Compopularity here, but I just want to fucking Burrow because I haven't been on this train and I'm watching this game to the I'm like, you know what, VJ bro, you you might gotta change your opinion about this guy.
Man, this dude, like he's been what they're doing. He's been a baller, but.
I did knock him for things kind of going the little backwards and he had the injury, and I get that. But when I'm when I watch today and the culmination of what I've seen this year, if I had a vote, I want sa Quan to win it, I do, But my first quarterback after him, I would have to just I'm looking at the tape, not the records, and the tape is telling me this guy's playing out of his freak. Four hundred yards on that defense today, five hundred yards total on that defense today. In week seventeen, I'm I'm tipping my hat and I'm saying, we need to move him up, bro, And like he's gotta definitely move up, especially if some way, somehow coach lose, two Dolphins lose won, the Dods lose, mar Wall. We have to win tomorrow, tomorrow's must win. Our we eliminated, and the Broncos lose next week, and the Bengals somehow at the starting one in four and being written off by everybody, including the voice you're hearing right now, and to and to fight their way back into the playoffs. I would love to see what that first round wildcard matchup was gonna be about, because I'm just not sure that team's beating this team. You're gonna have to score to beat them, because they're gonna score, and everybody ain't got difference.
Defensive throwing to the field. You feel what I'm saying right Like, going into Texas, I wouldn't.
Think that the Houston Texas against Cincinnati on a winning streak Hot Burrough Chase Higgins, like with all the defensess and remember they.
Still got Hendricks. They still got a guy to go.
Get your guy. But the thing though, he's leaningside. What I watched today, Man, what I watched today?
Quite honestly, Oh Burrow, This Cincinnati team, to me, I've seen the same team all year. Defensively, this seems not good. In fact, they're terrible defensively. And why because they got guys. I don't have the answers for that jue they got God, But I do know that bow Knicks today missed two game winning passes both like and look, but he's a rookie.
It's what game.
It's Game sixteen for him.
But no, no, no, I'm talking about Franklin down the seam on the third and six and overtime. That's a fifty six yard touchdown pass. That's gonna be thirty five yards run. You want to hit, you hit that. He had an opportunity to connect on the first down across the middle. He gets that first down three knees. You're out of the game, right, You won the game? Are you tied in overtime and you've advanced and you've clinched a playoff spot.
So like for me, I still am like, because you know what, you're right.
No, a lot of teams are gonna have Denver's defense, but you know what, they all won't have.
A regular quarterback.
It'll be either Mahomes or Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson or like, It'll be a quarterback that is a top tier in this league and he is going to melt the Cincinnati defense like a hot night through butter going. Let's let's go ahead transition though to college football. Let's take a look in we have it's ours playing in college football Colorado in action.
Right now against another Big twelve opponent.
A little trickery right there, Yeah, all side kick ten to nothing BYU. They kick a field goal, they go for the surprise on side kick and recover it so they have the ball foray third straight possession. Here on the are there all forty six charline to start to drop? Hopits was that they didn't have to declare it. Take notes, NFL, we'll take a look in on Colorado.
Will be why you would recap some of the college football action this week. Coming up in just a minute, of course, staying locked into the NFL Arizona Cardinals in Saint Louis St.
Louis, Los Angeles Rams.
In a divisional matchup to Martin Weis Vija Husky on Fox Sports Football Saturday.

Sir Dorge Sanders, missus the Johns webs are on the deep ball as we look in on the Colorado Buffalos and the BYU Cougars this third and seven, Colorado barely touching the ball so far in the Alamo Bowl, but all the stars playing. It's a trend in college football that we'll talk about in just a minute.
Because we saw one notable star.
Only play a little bit Martin Weiss and vj Us it comes to your life from the ti rack dot com studios tyrack dot Com.
Well, ip you get there and if you want to join the conversation, feel free.
I'm at Martin Weiss Vj's at the Big Vanilla.
Funny got some shouts to get later on the show too. Man bringing in a lot of new listeners, Mari. Now we bringing in listeners, Marian, new people, Matt, So we gotta let them know.
I was telling them. Listen.
If you tune in, text me let me know you listen to us. Line Man, we shot you out, show you some love.
Let's see here the hypeman Harry says, always needed some good news from on our time. Yeah, this is a tough one. Oh, you just lost the bowl game, got pounded. Also lost their defensive coordinator to West Virginia. Now Brent van gonna have to hire an offensive coordinator and a defensive coordinator. Eighties had consecutive losing seasons and Oklahoma hadn't had conxecutive losing seasons.
It's like the invention of this, you know, color television. It's not good.
No, it's not it's not good there in Oklahoma, man, But you know, just is what it is. How you listen, This is college football, right I When I was born in Oklahoma, Billy Simms and those guys, come on, you guys were chilling. People were chilling college football. And then in the eighties, then you took over for like four or five years, and then you had a little thrust there where Bama was good in the eighties and then in ninety ninety one they knocked off the Canes and then you had to you.
And then you had Florida State.
Bobby Bouden gets Florida State going in the mid to late ninety eighties, and that ran until the early two thousands. And then you had Oklahoma with Bob Stoops and Adrian Peterson and all those guys that you had, I mean, Tommy Harris. You guys had first round picks, top ten picks, top five picks. It's just now things have shifted. Before saving got the Bama, Bama wasn't doing nothing, Baba one't scaring nobody. Then they went on and won thirty seven national championships in eleven years.
Like it's this is just college football. I'm a Michigan.
Man, we would down down lose it to Toledo at home going going five and seven, like five and seven. That had never happened through my childhood, but it happened. And now we're back up. Now we're the cream of the crop. Little down here, but we're snatching all the portal guys, top two running backs, bringing in the number one high school recruit and my man Underwood. So also Man just also quick shot new listeners. Man, Natalie him in ass she's tuning in Man, text me let me know.
And Chante all the way out on riverside.
Chante listening in love with us too, his rest So right now, Man just always gaining new listeners. We appreciate you guys with recent mortal tweets, but Martin, this is just the way college football goes Man. Right, It's just every now and then you're gonna have some teams that are dominant and then it'll go.
Remember LSU was running LSU was running this.
You has lit'tle have a period every about six years, six seven years, they got a squad. You just look at Burrows squad. Go back to the national championship that Les Miles won, Like they have these years where they're just like, is anybody gonna beat them? Georgia went't scaring nobody guys like through a period of time until they got what Kirby smart now they got not at back. I mean, they weren't really dominated that since they had herschel Walker. They had Champ Bailey and Quincy Carter and those guys Craig Lumpkin and No Shawn Moreno and some of them aj Green, But there wasn't gonna be LSU or BAMA at the time.
So happens. I'll tell you what. As you were talking, I'm not saying I wasn't listening. Now I know, I gota your eyes too. Travis Hunter making second catch of the day, which was.
A fifty eight yard so good, And it was the like you I watch a lot of low level football and you were, you know, coaching high school football for the longest time. It's at those levels where you see just how much better one player is not just in the guy guarding him, then everybody right, Like things like a five yard out turned into a sixty yard play because he makes four guys miss and he just outruns the safety. You know what I mean, Like all types of crazy things happen when you got youth football because the margins are so large, Right, you got guys that are going to play in college at power five or whatever they want to.
Call it out, you know, college football playoff schools.
I guess i'd say that you got guys who are going to play at that level.
Then you got guys who are going to you know, community college to go, and then you got guys out there just going to regular college. With Travis Hunter just did the stuff that he puts on tape with the ball in his hands.
I don't know how in the NFL, Like, because we talked about is an NFL team going to like let him.
Play both ways?
Right?
That's that's when we say let right, That's but that's the verb U is that we generally have been using to discuss this conversation. My question is, now, after watching plays like this, how does an NFL team.
Not not let him just do whatever? We're not even left not even let Mae May like that I'm talking about May. I wish the hell you would tell me you don't want to play both ways? Jos out there on defense.
I think that's what makes him so special over everything.
Obviously, incredible uh, conditioning, incredible athing, incredible physique to be able to go out there and go out there, his ball skills in the air, his ball skills in the air, both catching the ball defensively and offensively, and then his ability in space to just go like that like those are the two things to me that are his most elite traits. And if you're gonna draft them and not use them, I don't know what. I don't know why you would.
No doubt, and I know we gotta probably jump to Steve here in a second, though I'll come back to Travis in a minute.
But something you said as far as.
When you can see talent and and you're right coaching on the high school level here, trust me, I've had hawks with kids where it's not malicious and it's not putting them down, it's really motivating them. Where you want to go to the NFL?
Right, son?
Yes, Kochusky, Okay, you got a lot of work to do, and if you could get there, you could get there. But you got a lot of work to do to get to where you're trying to go. And the work I see you put in, trust me. The guys I hear y'all talking about doing water break. They weren't goofing around in practice, they weren't late to practice, they didn't have teachers having problems with them in class. They didn't miss weightlifted, they didn't miss conditioning. They went and random bleachers without being told. Trust me on this. So if you want to be those guys, that's the type of work you gotta put in. That's the type of body you got to build in the mindset you have to have.
So you're right. I do see that up close and personal.
When Traves was coming out of school, there was a reason why he was the number one recruit. Martin and everybody. Everybody wanted them to the point that they got mad. That prom got them, Oh.

Oh, so I'm leading with College now is what you're saying?
No, Steve, you know, I'd like to try to guess what's going on over there.
You know, I'll have to try to know. Sometimes I feel like sometimes I hit it right on the head. Steve, tell you how to do your job right, please, after we call you the best in the business, but they tell you how to do it.
Since what you had a one and two chance to correct fro or College that we're probably leading.
Hey, there we go. I was like Michigan volleyball. That's another point.
It's a top twenty five matchup that you're talking about. Just forget that soccer up date for me, please, thanks, may or may not by you beat beating Colorado. It's ten to nothing, early second quarter, and it's mid fourth quarter and NC State, with a couple of touchdowns, is taking the lead in the Military Bowl against East Carolina twenty one twenty. There is another game starting up within an hour, Number twenty two Army against Louisiana Tech in the Independence Bowl. Among the earlier games wins for Nebraska, Yukon, TCU and Iowa State beat Miami and the Pop Tarts Bowl forty two forty one Miami, Ohio a winner forty three seventeen over Colorado State. And yes, we have three Saturday games in the NFL and the one in la is mid first quarter. Now Rams are scoreless against the Arizona Cardinals. A lot of excitement just before this in Cincinnati, where the Bengals somehow are still mathematically alive for the postseason. They were four and eight at one point. They keep winning in overtime thirty to twenty four. The I pardon me for chuckling, but if you've seen this game, it should have been over a lot of times before, but Bengals in overtime did beat the Broncos thirty to twenty four. Bronco had tied it on a touchdown pass with eight seconds left in regulation. T Higgins the Star swallows Joe Burrow Higgins with three touchdown receptions, including the game winner. The Broncos with a tie, would have clinched a playoff berth. Instead, they're now nine and seven. The Chargers, at ten and six, have clinched a playoff berth Justin Herbert three touchdown passes at New England forty to seven LA the final lad McConkey two of those tds eight receptions ninety four yards. Dolphins quarterback two A Tonguava Loa with a hip injury doubtful for tomorrow at Cleveland, so Tyler Huntley could start. Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is out Sunday with back and foot injuries. He misspracticed all week. Joe Flacco will be starting. As for the basketball news, we do have two finals from the NBA. Thunder have won again. They won at the Hornets one oh six ninety four Oka see twenty five and five Hawks beat the Heat one twenty to one ten and in progress the Wizards at five and twenty three are leading the next late in the third quarter eighty seven to eighty five. College hoops in LA Top twenty five matchup to U CLA over Gonzaga sixty five sixty two that was played at the New LA Clippers Arena, Memphis beating number sixteen oh Miss eighty seven to seventy and among the many NHL games, it was an overtime win for Seattle at Vancouver. Also an overtime win for the LA Kings at home against Edmonton for three again about five minutes to go first quarter. Now in La Rams and Cardinals scoreless. Cardinals have already been elimited that they're seven and eight.
Back to you, thanks Steve, Martin and BJ coming to you live from the tirerec dot Com studios.
Martin Wis's VJ Husky.
You know, breaking everything down, I said, we don't been diving into a.
Little bit of college football here.
As you know, BYU has the ball again driving down into Colorado territory near the end zone, into the red zone.
Better of fact, they you boys need to wake up a little bit out here.
These are my guys. I love them, I love Colorado, I love coach Prim. I'm pulling forming again. I'm glad we got this one on the studio. But we also are big time college football guys. You myself, guys like air Toars. Remember now, by this BYU team, these aren't These kids aren't no slouches.
They were very good this year.
They had to slip up against uh I was borne. They had a one game slip up a by you got beat at home on a late Saturday night. I want to say Iowa State or Arizona State. One of those teams went up there. It would have been io Was State because's big twelve. So if Iowa State goes up there and and uh and beats them and kind of knocks them out of the college football playoffs.
So these are no slopses.
Just real quick back to the point you were making about how you can see talent and differentially the talent between certain guys. Four names I just wrote down real fast that I covered in height that I called their games in high school. Kavon Thibodeau Nfler, Zach Sharbonne Nfler, Trent McDuffie, Bosco Nfler, Bryce Young Nfler. Those are guys when you go to high school, you look on the field, you go, that guy's different, that guy's different. Grant Grant Mason, Mason Graham modern day Michigan gonna be a top five pick. When you watch him in a high school uniform, is like, Okay, that man's thirty. There's no way that kid is eighteen or seventeen years old. And that was Travis Hunter in high school. When you saw him in the field, he just he just pops off and you know, yea, that kid's a five star, five star guys guy twenty two seventy four sports worts told me that did they know? That's the first round drop pick? So if you you know, if you're talking about seeing guys on the field, as I look and see Steve Hartman, who I said goodbye to thirty eight minutes ago, now on television O KTLA, good for him talking about.
The child over the Patriots. Looks like you made it on time. Yeah.
But if you were late tuning into the Pop Tars Bowl and you only watched the second half, you wonder where's cam Ward? The answer was on the sideline played the first half set the Division one touchdown record until and then in the second half Miami backup quarterback Emery Willia him started. Ward had a big smile on his face as the team scored the touchdown. He was out of the game through one hundred and fifty six touchdowns in his college career.
VJ.
Cam Ward being taken a task a bit here for not playing in the second half your thoughts.
So I'm gonna take him the task too. What are you sitting down for? Man? I hate this I hate in the NFL and I hate it in college. If you're gonna put on your uniform, damn it, play and finish the game. If you're gonna, if you're not gonna. Last year we had this argument Martin and I got into it on air about Marvin Harrison JUNR where he opted out of the ballgame. Fine, that's fine, all right, go away, go trade for the NFL, Go get ready for the drag, don't travel with the team and where and get all the swag and show up at all the events in the parade.
And then stand on the sideline and yes, swetzu.
I had a problem with Jabil Peppers when he pulled that with Michigan against Florida State in that Bowl game and then set up in the press box where the camera's gonna find you. If you don't want to finish out, then just don't be there. Don't be there and leave if you don't want to fit the shit out. But for cam Ward not to play the second half, ro you what are you doing now? You're still gonna be a top five, top six pick. You're probably the second quarterback. First from some of the things I may be hearing on the side off the board.
But to me as a.
GM moving forward, when I sit you down and I ask some of them tough, ignorant questions that they ask sometimes, I'm really gonna look you in the face and say, how can I trust that you're not gonna sit down in the second half of a game if I draft you staring right into his pupils through his damn soul, and he better have a damn good answer.
That's the way I carry it.
I get you can get her, you can. You can get hurt stepping off a curve where the concretes cracked. The name the city ain't fixed it yet. You could twitch it ankle doing that.
Yeah, But you had a better chance of getting hurt playing football that I would imagine crossing the street. But my thing is this, honestly, and it really boils down to simple dollars and cents. There was a two million dollar nil situation that went to Cam Woard to play football for Miami. That to me is the beginning and the end of it. If you're healthy and you got paid, why aren't you playing? Yeah, that to me is the beginning and the end of it.
They need to start making these key like if you gonna pay you money in IO, you gotta play.
I don't get opting out of your bowl game. If like the Aniles name image of likeness, the bowl game is obstensibly the biggest moment for the program all season. I need your name image of likeness in the bowl game if I needed in week three.
Yeah.
Absolutely. I think that that's where I had more of sympathy for moments such as this when these guys were not getting paid.
But now that we have pay to play.
Like, I fully expect the Kansas City Chiefs and to go out there exactly and to play their guys overwhelmingly. And maybe they might shit one or two guys, but you know why. That's because they're preparing for our next game. Real quick, two guys, big name guys. I can remember that got hurt late in the season Bowl games. You remember when Jake Budd got hurt. Jake Bud got hurt.
Okay, that might have derailed it because now he's talking for the Big Ten Network and calling Michigan games.
But Willis McGahee also, if.
You remember that game, into you their Bowl game, had his knee shredded in tears. Willis McGahee went on to have a pretty damn good NFL career. This idea that you're gonna have this catastrophic injury where you can never play again.
Find me where it's happened.
Well, the Lattimore for South Carolina, there's there's there's, there's options out there.
I was. It was not Marshawn's the only one to see.
I'm about to say a lot of Moore, I believe, but didn't get to the league and play.
But it wasn't.
He was one of the best backs in college football and didn't end up having the NFL career that you know, like Willis McGahee, to your point, was one of the best backs in college football, got hurt, had like an eight nine, ten year career with for two teams.
It was Marcus.
He didn't have none of it, Marcus Ltimore, but he made it was the doors right. The fact the remains.
If Marcus Latimore was getting paid one hundred point five million dollars to play college football, then we wouldn't have had the dang what a sad story it was, you know what I'm saying, because I'm not saying that it's not still sad, but he's getting paid to be out there and play the game. The same way that we're looking at the Arizona Cardinals who are dead in the water against the Los Angeles Rams, who we five If we five were dead in the water, and these guys are all playing, it's because that's what the job is. And college football the way it is now, Guess what, it's a job. If you're getting paid, I think you should play. Gotta play, you gotta play.
Coming up next.
Look, the Bengals have a ridiculous opportunity, I mean ridiculous chances, you know, like you got a better chance get struck by lightning twice and making the playoffs.
If they don't, though, what should happen?

As we were watching the Bengals and the Broncos, I just kept thinking, Wow, it's amazing how many different poor coaching opportunities are going on in Cincinnati. The Cincinnati Bengals have a you know what, a snowball chance in hell to make the playoffs still in it. I mean they are, but you know, snowball wouldn't melt in the first second, I guess. But see see how much longer it stays alive. If the Bengals don't make the playoffs, which is more likely than not, do they make a change coaching? Because I feel, honestly, if you if the Bengals were to do so, this job is gotta be where would it rank? Because I think it would be better than the Jets. They're gonna be better than the Saints. They're gonna be better than the Jaguars if that one opens up. I would love to if I'm a coach, give me this situation because it just needs.
A little bit of fine tuning.
And I just think Zach Taylor, he's kind of got that Milton from Office space Field.
What is it exactly that you do here?
Yeah, I hate to go back and revisit this, but he was one of the names I throw out here. We talk about coaches that could be fired, and it's maybe about a month ago, about a month month and a half ago. Positive, maybe through thanks given the weekend. And I just I feel like, even if they do make the playoffs, Burrow Burrow feels like he might have grown tired of this guy.
It just it just feels that way.
Has shown a ton of frustrations exactly.
So it's I mean, people talk about Sirianni. This guy may not be confrontational. I do it all the day, but you can still Pilovi. My energy meter is rarely off. The good Lord bless me with that. I read energy and you can see it in body language, psychology, philosophy, all helps that I read energy.
Burrow's energy towards this.
Man, it does not feel connected like a quarterback and a head coach should be. You talk about where this job ranks. It's number one your quarterbacks. Joe Burrow, Jim Harbaugh take the Chargers job. And we're watching Harball and his press conference and he does the whole thing like yeah, you walk in and you see the facility, great, and you see so fine. I walk in and there's Joe and he looks up in Wow, this is Joe Burrow. Okay, sign me up like this is my quarterback. Yeah, let's go. Like I get Joe Burrow, I get Jamar Chase. Now you're gonna have to fix some holes in defense. I get Hendricks, the league leader in sacks. Signed me all the way up. Pete Carroll's name has been thrown out there. You know, think Pete Carroll could come here and fix this defense. That's what he does, and then just bring in a great offensive mine and just say, hey, kind of just keep the offense going.
We're good there.
Maybe getting another back in I like Brown, the kid out of Illinois, but you know, maybe you know, get we get a bigger power back or maybe another scat back, so you know, to open up the offense even more. This job would be number one. I threw Zack Tayler's name out there over a month ago. I just feel like, hey, you got to the Super Bowl. Cool, but it's gone backwards since you got to another AFC championship game. You had a player pushed Myhomes and Mahomes did the smart thing and flopped thirteen yards out of bounds.
Fine, got the flag set up for the field goal. Game over.
But it's gone backwards since then. And if you're gonna reset. You know what rich people. I say. Rich people have always told me. Whatever works, double down quick, whatever doesn't get rid of it fast.
Don't hold on to it. Don't hold on to this guy.
If you think another guy could come in here and straighten up some of the deficiencies of this team, because it's next, it's not Zach Taylor.
Well I know this.
Two weeks ago, I was told, how these we gotta.
Get Alabama in the playoffs.
Colorado needs to be there. Colorado right now was getting whooped by b Yu.
Yeah, why I use a good football team though I'm not saying that the football I'm saying so was Indiana, so was Tennessee, so was all these other teams that Clemson was a good football team.
All these teams.
That were in playoff contention were good football teams.
Just just go to figure. Maybe just some of them get their asses chicked every so often. Yeah, that happens every so often too. This is easy to say. If you see the score seventeen and nothing. It doesn't me personally. I'll speak for myself instead of don't change my opinion. Ten eleven twelve, Give me brands, give me superstars. Simple. Well, if it's an ass whooping. Either way, I guess you rather it doesn't matter, then we just much Rather I'd rather see the brand and the Stars get their ass whooped, and then that's not gonna be back there and.
The Stars on BYU because that the team seems to be better here.
But then I guess by you should have been in the playoff. But I don't hear anybody saying that.
I just did. Then Oh, you think like all these oh.
We gotta get this team, we gotta get that, so we gotta get this team. This team just is both of these teams, well, Colorado's getting whooped, and that's the one that everybody he wanted. BYU doesn't have the star priyer that everybody was talking about. And now and at the team what Alabama?
Oklahoma just beat Navy. Who Alabama couldn't score with three points on?
Hhmm?
Interesting?
How about this from college to the pros wild Card playoff berth for Jim Harball, what's it mean for Los Angeles? We'll get that just a moment. Martin and VJ Fox Sports Radio from one version of the playoffs to another. Martin Weiss and VJ Husky broadcasting live from the Tire rack dot com Studios tire iraq dot com. Well up, you get there with an unmaxed selection fast free shipping feriod as a protection at over ten thousand recommended this dollars tire iraq dot com. So why that tire buying should be so vjay It's interesting. I was thinking about this today as we watched the Los Angeles Chargers clinch a playoff berth and the Denver Broncos one went away from clinching a playoff berth when you know, the Kansas City with nothing to play for in Week eight team like the rest of their starters.
So kind of got that. That's me. I keep hitting it.
But I was findingly fascinated because you and I one of the items that we were diametrically opposed on in the beginning of the season was how the AFC West was going to shake out. We both thought the Chiefs would win it. We both thought one team would be a wild card. I thought it was gonna be the Broncos. You thought it would be the Chargers. The Chargers punched their ticket today Broncos had an opportunity to punch their ticket. It looks overwhelmingly likely that it looks overwhelmingly likely that they will when you consider what Kansas City has to play for in week eighteen and who liked to playing for Kansas City in Week eighteen.
But I think it's kind of funny that we were.
Both right, you know, saying like I know not yet, but but I look, I'll take ten or I'll take a nine win team that was five and half Vegas overrun Gay. I'm not trying to tell I'm not trying to take anything away.
It's like, it's just funny that it's not like one of us was like the forty nine Ers are gonna win the West, and I was like, the Cardinals are gonna win the West. Like know, we both like we both up the fort Downs will be down a little bit, picked wrong winners.
It's just like, it's funny how.
That have Seattle so I missed.
Still I still have a shot at that had Seattle to win the West, and I had the Charges that eleven wins. I'm still just one win away from catching in on that. Uh, but what they've done.
But the entirety of the if you're arguing the Chargers are gonna have eleven wins, and I'm saying the Broncos are a double digit win team.
Yeah, we're both saying, so.
You think the other team is gonna be You think three teams from the NFC West are getting it?
No?
I never thought, no, not at all. Well, I'm saying that's just funny. I feel that was our retort, and now it looks overwhelming likely that I could be the case.
Yeah, no, no, and they could be the case too. We'll see what happens next week, see what happens with the Dolphins tomorrow. Now that we're hearing Ooz's got the hip and his doubtful to the before tomorrow, it's just just like, I just don't trust any coquarterback that they've shown. I know it's Cleveland, but you know Dria Thompson is gonna be starting for them. Jamis Famous, Jamis Winston aka crab Legs is out.
But we'll see.
Hopefully defense can get some turnovers, maybe score and at least just get us to them bum ass Jets man, so we can get that dub me devid to Loons to the Bronc to the Chiefs and then they coach to drop there too with the Chargers. Just salute, man, Just salute and it's been it's actually been a real pleasure covering him this year, being able to see this thing up close and personal. Disagres there every Sunday or Thursday night or Monday night wherever they schedule them games, and we're up in sofar stadium.
Just to see this thing sit next to each other. U. No, we actually don't.
I just normally walk over and just shake his hand and meet him because he's my guy man. Whenever I seen him, I like to show off my show off my gear Steve.
Steve likes to suit jackets. But anyway, I just love this.
I love this team is just Justin Herbert. I got a proclamation of favorite players. He's not my favorite player yet Justin Herbert's moving up the list real, real, real fast. For me, it's my favorite NFL quarterback. And this guy is. He's got the size, he's got the arm, he's got the leadership, he's got the moxie. And I think what what Hardball's done this year has brought him a level of cerebral He's brought him a level of cerebral he you're hearing about. He's more quiet this year. He's more of a kind of show me leader. He'll just talk when he needs to a level of toughness play through a hia go spring. You don't find quarterbacks our NFL players period that can play through high ankle springs for in the season, maybe a week or two towards the end, man, but not an entire year. And he's doing this with the shoulder with so called not a lot of weapons. But I like McConkie, I like Palmer, I like the backs. I like some guys they got they get. They got Will Dristly back today. He was out for two three weeks, so I know that was something that her Actually he's got more more catches this year than he had in five years in Seattle. So it shows what ball took a guy that was at a team for five years and thought, no, we can't do nothing with him. Well, just come on down here play for the Chargers. You're gonna catch passes from Justin Herbert. But what the Chargers have done, it's just super impresident. They get a chance to get to eleven wins. Remember we read that was that Daniel Jeremiah Wright had picked them to win the AFC West. As many scoffed at it, You and I sat here and go. He's not far off. I don't think they'll get it this year, but I did say they'll win the AFC West next year. The Chargers are one legitimate w R one from unseating the Chiefs. They have the defense, they have the players. I know, a guy like Khalil Max a little long in the tooth, but he's getting smarter. Kind Of like I said about Kelsey yesterday when we fill in it last night, is that he's buying his time this year. He's just he doesn't have to ball out in September October. You got other young studs for that. But he's gonna show up when you need him. I think most and uh just impressed what they did click their wild card today and now we'll just see where they're going. I tell you, man, I would even pick them or like to see them at Buffalo. I would like to see them have to go play a tough team and to go to Houston. I think they won that game, you know, but I would like to see them have to go on the road to a real tough environment just to see what this team is really made of and if they lose. Okay, cool, it was your first year our ball you guys, but you got to the playoffs. You won eleven games. Next year, build on it. Now you'll have a home playoff game because you're gonna win the AFC West the following year.
So that's crazy to me. That's crazy.
And it's also crazy to say the charger of our wide receiver one away from dethroning the Chiefs. They are with the Chiefs have there, they had them, They were in both they the Chiefs needed last second field goals to beat them both games. So they were beating the Chiefs in the fourth quarter late in the game. I think the first game was seventeen to ten or seventeen thirteen. The second game, they're beating them the whole game. They're beating them up.
They're being more physical, they're being more physical with the point of attack on both sides of the football. They're beating They're out physical the Chiefs. It's on tape, it's on film, and the Chiefs. But I always say this about the Chiefs, and this is why I told Aaron this Christmas Day, this is.
My favorite Chiefs team to watch over this run.
They're having and Aaron's like, whoa what, yes, because this is real basic just football, one on one. What the Chiefs are doing this year, and that's what I love. You can do all the crazy stuff you could do, all the New age offense, you can do, all the new age coverages and defense. At the end of the day, when you cut down the brass taxes in football, one oh one, run the football, stop to run, rush the passer, protect the passer, don't turn the ball over, don't commit stupid penalties. You'll win sixty five percent or more of your games. That's what the Chiefs do. They have a defense that keeps Mahmie around long enough for him to work his magic on the last drive. And I don't know if there's a quarterback in history, and I can't believe I'm saying this with Lway, with Marino, with Thomas, if there's one guy I'm giving the ball to with a drive, I don't care how many timeouts I have. I don't care how much time is on o'clock. At least at least I need a minute. I might just, out of all the quarterbacks in the history of football, I might hand it to Pat mahomes Man. And I've watched Marino do it forty something times. I've watched Lway do it thirty forty some times. I've watched Peyton Man, I've watched Brady seven super, I've watched these guys do it. But I'm watching this dude. It's like, God, he just don't miss when does he When is he gonna lose a late game? He just doesn't. And that's what they do this year. So they've beaten the Chargers twice. But put the tape on the charge. Our physical beat them up throughout.
That doesn't that doesn't track when the can't city out rushed them both times.
I mean nearly no mathematician me to death. Broke in numbers, I said, put the film on.
I'm telling oh, well, all right, but we're in the film.
Do you see.
Games where in the film do you see fifty five yards less rushing and show the team being more physical?
They just lost.
I see it. I see it's not excuse me, they lost. They just lost.
Like got an excuse if you you like I said, you can shato a number out, So you're got asking me where's that at? Where's that at?
Is?
They were up on them in a fourth quarter, So even though they had fifty five less rushing yards, they're still beating them in the fourth quarter because they're not killing themselves. They're not beating themselves, and they're physically competing and beating them up at the line of scrimmage.
That's where you see it. The yardists don't mean anything.
If it comes down to a line at last drive and I have the lead, you can throw all that stuff out of the window in football.
I do believe it. I'll stand on this.
They are a big time receiver away from unseating them in the AFC West.
Hoy, I'll call it for next year. How many losses do the Chargers have this year?
I wasn't legit wasn't trying to do six six, right, because right now they're ten and six, Yeah, ten and six six. They got Sir Patrick Mahomes against the AFC West just thirty five and five. I know what. I know that. I know all of that. I know all the numbers.
Bro.
I'm talking for next year. I think next year, if they get a Bona five number one, you move Mconkey to the two, you makee QJ or three. You have your tight ends. You got your run back. I got Jimmy Burgers, I got Roman, I got Mint Urt. I got, I got, I got dark Uhr Derri jacts like I got, I got guys, I.
Got legitimate upper echelon NFL.
Gut.
I am one outside guy away from unseating the Kansas City Chiefs.
In the a f C West. No, I'm all right, I'm.
Doing all that.
I got horrible, I got down, I got Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, Steeves Magnolo.
Like, I'm just thinking that this. I think the Chiefs are gonna win. I think that she's gonna throw.
The Chiefs have already won it because they've clitched the division on the first of December.
No, not that, not that, not not not the not I'm sorry, not the not the division.
Talking about the Super Bowl. I think they have the chance to really three pete this year.
I'm just speaking looking at the team, seeing what's on the field, seeing what's on the what's on tape.
They if they can get themselves.
I even had this conversation with Aaron and even with Ian and there's a few receivers. If I'm the Chargers Martin, there's a few receivers out there.
I called teams and.
Ask about I would hope and I threw this out, and I throw this out as you could. I know you haven't heard this opinion from me yet. If I'm the Miami Dolphins this offseason and then million probably like what, No, I'm with you. I have some questions about Tyreek Hill right now. I will have you. He's got big money. Seventeen hundred yards his first two years. Good guess what, man, It just it wasn't enough for us. We gotta fill some other holes. We got a number one in Jalen You paid him. You got Malik Washington at the UVA. That's showing crazy promise. So and you're gonna have to move some pieces around John new Smith resign him. You got some pieces, but I might think about unloading him. Do you think a team like the chart you probably could get maybe two more years out of him, probably two more years out of him. Throw him in the office like that. I called a Jets and ask about Davonta Adams. If Rogers is gonna walk away, Davonte is not gonna be happy staying there. But he still got juice left, and he's still a bon to five number one in my opinion, he still got some juice left. I would have gone he's not a free agent, so he can't walk. He's in contract. There. But even Garrett Wilson, if you're gonna blow this whole thing up, get right, Garrett. There's another name I threw out the other day. If they're gonna blow this thing up. If I'm the Chargers, I call the Jets and say, hey, and you're blowing it up over there? What do you want? What do you need?
What?
What do you want?
What can we make something work here?
That guy? And there's I'm forget there was a there was another receiver, I thought though. But if trust me, because there's a one in the in the draft, they're gonna get if they can find the chef, if they can know. I'm out on him. I've been out on him for two years though. That's not a new opinion of mindes. I've been out on DK metcalf one trick pony, and now that Devon this is starting to really show. I don't I just I don't need that on my football team. The production doesn't outweigh the headache. It just it just doesn't. They may not make the playoffs?
Is it because the d He's part of it?
Yes, he is, He's part of the coachre all right, that's not because they're out of the playoffs though, all right.
Well, I don't like his attitude this coach is that.
I'm sorry. If I'm the coach, I'm okay on on DK Metcalf. There's other receivers. If I'm a Jim Harball and I'm the front office there, I'm calling around and asking I'm not calling around and asking about DK Metcalf.
Sorry, I just really.
Hope I can get the Chiefs to win the AFCU West next year of plus money that's gonna be the investment of a lifetime.
Coming up next.
They said this was supposed to be an advantage for these four teams, but is it really is?
It really might not be.
We'll get to that just a moment.
Martin Wis's VJ Husky on a Fox Sports Football Saturday Martin VJ coming to your life on the tire IRAQ dot com studios.
You can hit us up on Twitter with your two cents.
I'm at Martin Wise VJ at Big Vanilla Funny.
Let's loads some of these up right here right now. My poor man, the hype man, Harry Oklahoma.
Fan, He's just is this softball season. Yeah, not quite, buddy. You're on the way though, because they dope as softball.
They be winning national Natties and championships and all of that out there.
Man, the Russian kid, Tim, the whole bunch of numbers behind his looks like his list of his burner accompany. He said, I'm not sure if you're aware of how the Bengals run their organization. We're not gonna fire Zach Taylor. He kept Marvin Lewis for two decades with no playoff wins, But that's not happening. Here's the thing, though, that's absolutely true. This ownership group did keep Marvin Lewis so wrong. They wondered what he had on the ownership right, But you never had a Joe Burrow. You had Carshon Palmer, who was pretty dad. You ain't never have this Joe Burrow.
No, you didn't have.
See.
This is the problem and why I think that this Cincinnati is situation is different than years past, and why I think the fans will hold ownership to a different level of you know, what's the word, I'm looking for accountability.
There you go.
This team got to a super Bowl in last five years with this core right, it's primarily all this same stuff here. That's why I think if they had just been in one and done playoffs, maybe two, when we win a wild card game losing the playoffs, then I think you can have a moment of well, you know, we gotta keep our program together, we gotta build.
Go getting that level of success.
Being an Aaron Donald sack away from an actual Super Bowl ring, Yeah, I think that heats up the seat a little bit more.
And me heats it up real fast too.
Man. Another good tweet here too, Man, Greg Allen, Man, that's my guy. He's always tuning in. As we appreciate you, g says how Fox Sports Radio. It's Martin Wiss and big Vanilla funny throwing Paul's when one of you who are blaming the other for a blown defensive assignment back on your innermural football squads And it's a video of I think this is the Miami Hurricanes. Two players, yeah, pushing each other fighting on the sideline.
Cool tweet.
Another quick shout out to man all the way back in Jersey. Man, she's from out here, but I know she's back in Jersey right now. My girl in the cole What up booboo Nicole old Kally Cole she's tuning in listening to text me and said, I'm listening to you guys live right now. Hilarious. So people think Martin and I funny, maybe just me, but I guess Martin's funny too.
I don't know.
I know, I'm one person named Big Vanilla Funnies. You know, twenty three years in the stand up comedian business will do that to you. Sometimes you've been bro, You've been to shows, You've seen how I do. I'm not like saying that. The look at this.
College football playoff, have four teams that won their conference got bys.
Yep.
So I heard Steve Hartman saying this earlier today, and I thought it was an interesting question. Do you think that this is They're actually at a disadvantage too much rest twenty one days essentially without playing games, and now not only do they not play a game, they have to play at a neutral site as opposed to playing a home game where the other teams were the higher seeded five through eight were able to play that home game, but five through nine we're able to play that home game.
Yeah.
Absolutely, this is absolutely a disadvantage. This is way too much time off. Football is a game where you have to stay competitive. You have to keep playing, you have to keep going. That's what football is. You can't take time off. There's a reason why when guys come back from the ir they kind of kind of rev themselves and rep their bodies back up to when it's a game playing shape, right, you have to kind of get your body going, take a few hits. It's different than just sitting down for twenty one days. I'll give you something better than that. Remember the National Championship games that used to be like a month after the regular season ended, and sometimes we'd show up and one team would just be flat.
And remember how we were getting all these.
Blowouts after blowouts after blowouts after blowouts in the National Championship game, whether it was the Pole era or the BCS era, we were getting blowffs because one team would just show up flat. Especially started they moved it to like December second, then December third. I'm seeing January second, January third, and January seventh, and January eighth and jan then it was then to the second week of January.
You're asking kids, honestly, eighteen.
Nineteen twenty year olds to take off five weeks and national championship game for the biggest prize in the sport. I think, I honestly believe two of these higher seed teams are gonna come out flat on New Year's even New Year's Day, it's gonna be playing this day. You gotta be to see the body language and say, okay, they're not ready to play and they better wake up real, real fast. I think Arizona State could be one of those teams. And I think Georgia's gonna be another one of those teams because we've watched Georgia. Martin and I have sat here for the last two years. They talked about Georgia, uh just for some reason starting slow. They start slow at Vanderbilt Kentucky lshit like they and they sometimes the don't come back and win these games. But you'll click, you'll click the game on and it's, you know, thirteen to six in Kentucky in the third Quarter's like, what the hold up, George, what's going on?
So they've had a lot of time off.
They did play in their conference championship game, but this Notre Dame team is very physical. And then Arizona State is getting Texas and Texas has just loaded and they just I mean that game looked like a back our football game the way they've been whooping ass all year long, especially in their first round game. Other than being other than playing Georgia, they could be everybody else. So yes, I agree with Hartman on this. This is definitely a big disadvantage in these other teams that have played. My metchage was, hey, let's get out here, let's jump on the ass or let's jump on them ass early. Let's get them good, let's get them early, let's get them down. They haven't played. We played, they haven't. Let's keep the momentum going, guys. That would be my message if I was one of the coaches of those teams coming out.
Yeah, my thing.
I don't know how big of a disadvantage it is of the rest in terms of Okay, let's also a great opportunity to get health and it's not like you can't practice during this time period, so guys are getting should be getting reps, should be getting repped up to go against and you got to watch the opening round games to see what's good and what's not in terms of those blowouts and the teams that you will be facing. To me, though, I do feel like if we're going to make this like silly me, I took the word playoff.
I know that everywhere else it's played offs. Put the college football play off.
I took it as we're going to try to be similar to the NFL playoffs. If you win your conference, you should get a home you should get a home game.
So would you take the buy away? I wouldn't. I think winning your conference should matter.
I wouldn't take the buy away, And in fact, I would keep it the same way because here's the there.
I know everybody saying.
Well, but the fifth best SEC team would beat the third best Mountain West team, Well, then maybe, And look again, I'm throwing all college football tradition except except rivalry games, out of the window because that's what they did, right, Like the geographical nature of college football, I'm.
Throwing all out the window.
So if you're telling me that the fifth best Mountain SEC team would be the would beat the second best Mountain Western beat the best Mountain West team, well, then Vanderbilt, I suggest you switch conferences.
Yeah, I was gonna suggest what would you would you like it if a new old entity of college football came and Sai we're doing with n C double which I think is gonna happen within the next five years, and so we're gonna do like the NFL, We're gonna we're gonna create divisions.
We're gonna create divisions.
And all you guys, like, for instance, name someone on the West coast that's in the ACC. Is that Stanford? Who Who's Okay Stanford? Stanford has no business in the ACC. They just don't. Guys, all right. I know I said something different last year, but now after seeing it. You can't fly to play Rutgers. That just doesn't make any sense. Well flying, yeah, exactly? Or are you?
Or are the uv A Stanford at uv A.
That's that doesn't work, guys, that's mu right, that doesn't work. I would like to see an entity of college football to be framed and built off of the away from n C double A where they gave us divisions like Northeast, South, and West.
It's already built in.
You just got to have the teams that if the if the best teams that transferred out of the PAC twelve into the ACC and Big ten formed a Mountain West, yeah, and then you're ACC state. It formed an East coast right there, like the Atlantic coast, you know. But even if take it all the way up, I'm with you in Boston, Boston and Miami and the Eastern conf right and then split north and south north, like you're almost already there with the SEC kind of encompassing the Texas and the Oklahomas.
You're already there with the big.
That's not as in Texas needs to be in like some Midwest South. There is no more Midwest South. There there is south, and there is west, and there is north, and there is east.
And if you look at the geographic map of the Big Ten and you pull out some of the ACC and ADS that are into the Big Ten, you add them to the I mean, we're not exactly reinventing the wheel here, but I think with the Mountain West still standing, all right, well, you know what a Vanderbilt if you think, if you think you you would have a.
Chance to make the college, go to the ACC, go to the or yeah, yeah, go to the AS, go to the ACCC.
Or if you're I can't think of a team out here that would have been even close Arizona State next year.
And do you think you have a shot?
You know what I'm saying, or El Colorado, you think you have a shot to and make the playoffs, all right.
You're in a bit.
Go to the Mountain West.
Go to the Mountain West when the division win your division, get a home by do that, because that's the way I think that college football show it should self balance at this point, because I'm chick of hearing about how you know, if you're gonna tell me that five and six Auburn would have been a two lost team in the Mountain West.
Will go ahead and damp prove you know, ahead and improve it. Six power conferences six at large bits would be my fix, and then leave the college football at twelve, but create another six power conference six power conferences six as largest there it is.

Steve, you're up, and before we get to the football, I must tell you about the game Jalen Brunson is having for the Knicks right now. Fifty three points nine asists about ten seconds left in overtime. The Knicks are leading at Washington. You ot one two to one twenty nine.
Now, Steve, just real quick that that's impressive until you say against Washington, but they were losing, I know, so wow, yeah, that's yeah.
Everybody's getting paid in the NBA.
You know, it's not there. It's not their fuck. Hey, you guys sat here banged on my pistons when twenty eight losses this year, I'm bank on the next bad team this year.
Okay, so what does that?
Let's just say not everybody on the Knicks is playing as well as Jalen Brunson, so his fifty points.
Is needed tonight.
By the way, Oklahoma City won yet again earlier twenty five and five record to the NFL, and the Rams are hosting the Arizona Cardinals. It's LA seven nothing in the lead. In the final minute before halftime, Matthew Stafford just now finally over one hundred yards passing. The Rams do have the seven zero league because of a one yard TD run from Kyra and Williams. Meanwhile, James Connor, playing with the knee entry for the Cardinals, four carries four yards. He was stopped on a fourth and one at the Ram fourteen early second quarter and has since left with the knee injury and not yet re entered. He's called questionable to return. Arizona at seven and eight is already out of the playoff chase. Rams at nine and six, leading at home seven to nothing. In the final minute before halftime, Rams had the ball past mid. Cincinnati is still mathematically alive for a playoff. Berth after the home overtime win against Denver thirty to twenty four. Bengals record eight and eight t Higgins three touchdown receptions, including the game winner. The Chargers at ten and six clinch to playoff Berth winning at New England forty to seven, three touchdown passes for Justin Herbert two the lad mcconkee at eight catches ninety four yards. Carolina placed running back Chewba hubbard On injured reserve Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is out Sunday with back and foot injuries to a tug of Iloa Dolphins quarterback with a hip injury is doubtful for tomorrow. To college football, the bowl game to pay attention to late tonight is BYU up twenty to nothing on Colorado as they start the second half. Army has scored early for a six to nothing lead against Louisiana Tech Bowl wins for Yukon and Nebraska. For TCU and Miami Ohio East. Carolina won on a late eighty six yard touchdown run twenty six twenty one on over NC State. Iowa State beat Miami forty two to forty one in Orlando. Cam Ward of the Hurricanes career TD pass number one fifty six, the new NCAA record. In fact, that was his first of three today. No, he did not play the whole game, nor did he meet the media afterwards. In college basketball, UCLA beat Gonzagan a top twenty five matchup sixty five sixty two Utah State with a late three point or one at number twenty San Diego State sixty seven to sixty six, and we can update the Knicks game. It's my goodness.
NBA games just take forever.
In the last thirty seconds. It's nine seconds to go now, so two minutes ago it was ten seconds to go. It's down nine seconds left in overtime. Nicks by one, one thirty two, one thirty one at the Wizards. Jalen Brunson with fifty three back to you, stee you.
I have a question for you and the class at large.
You remember the couple years ago in the All Star Game when they did that elam ending where they played to a number yes, How did you feel about that?
I didn't really like the idea when I heard it, and when I saw it for an exhibition, I thought, oh, this is perfect. People are for the first time in years taking the fourth quarter of an exhibition.
Seriously.
Now, there's been a lot of talk about changing the rules, similar to what Baseball did with, you know, making the bases big lot, adding the pitch clock, adding the ghost runner. The only one I feel like truly fundamentally changes baseball is the ghost runner, because just giving a guy on base, that's a major advance.
I think that.
I'm almost there to the NBA where let's play to what amount? Let's play to like like then the way they did the elam ending. I know it was an exhibition.
I know it was.
You know, we're all like locked in because it's the All Star game. But to Steve's point, Jalen Brunson is on the middle of in the middle of a fifty burger and we're trying to watch the end of the game, which is a tightly contested game. Washington stinks. But okay, I get it's a tightly contested game, but the game probably still hasn't ended.
No three seconds left, see what I'm saying.
This update started about six minutes ago.
It's taken six minutes to get to eleven seconds of the NBA and I think a lot of Look, we talk about what drama the drama and what the lead needs to change. I think this is one of the things that we just blow past because people are like, oh, the NBA is too political.
The end of games takes forever.
Yeah, I remember notable the one exception to so many timeouts and yet so much excitement. You'd have to go back to one of the Reggie Miller playoff games in the Rick Smith's era, where after every timeout somebody hit a clutch shot in the final seconds. That never happens. So what you instead get now is either a parade to the foul line and yeah, the game's still close, so you're gonna still see a lot of stoppages. But even the Great Chick hern the longtime Lakers announcer, hated free throws because it stopped the game. It's the opposite of the thrills that you normally get in the athleticism of an end to end NBA game.
And the point of a free throw is to penalize the defensive team for committing an error, not a strategy to get the ball back.
Yeah, do you know what I'm saying.
That's how teams used to come back before they adjusted the college rules. Remember the Jim Volvano days And they show that documentary and part of the reason they came back is he kept fouling freshman and it was a one in one and he'd missed the first free throw, and my goodness, we got the balltball back.
Well, we can also go to hack a shack. We can go there too. It was like, okay, we'll just foul shack. It slows the game down. And we'll keep plating him at the free throw line. We'll take his fifty six percent free throw percentage and we'll we'll bag him on not making most of these so we can get back into it again.
We're playoff games where Shaq was literally shooting thirty to forty three.
Oh yeah, I remember in the first three with him and Phil and Kobe. Absolutely, it was it was the Spurs that started that. It was Popovich and the Spurs that started that, and then Adamman and the Kings, and then you had Portland. If you remember how good those Portland teams were. That Portland team was up twenty in the fourth quarter against that Laker team. They're up twenty in that game, and Shaq famously says, Phil Jackson just came to the huddle set, uh, I guess you guys just aren't I guess we're not good enough yet. I guess you guys just aren't ready and walked out of the hoddle. And then him and Kobe look at each other and go, oh no, hell no, we can't.
Go out like that.
They lookttle bit of the scoreboard and he's like, okay, twenty. Let's just get it to ten by like the five minute mark, they eight minute mark. You know, just let's just work it down. But I have a question for you if they put a Cat Martin on the NBA games, both of you guys are as Martin?
Just a what you said the class the students.
In the clubs one second left in overtime in the next game.
Wow, and we talked another four minutes and the game is not over yet. What number Cat would you put on an NBA game first team?
To what Steve Well, there's also keep in mind for an NBA overtime. And this is why the ghost runner exists in baseball is because you have series and they have another game tomorrow or playing to catch tonight. There there are legitimate reasons why the Union wouldn't argue putting that into baseball. It's so they don't have to play fourteen in in games and then play against.
So yeah, or doubleheader tomorrow yeah, or mostly the whole flights thing.
People people wonder why you have so much midweek with low attendance baseball game is because the union demands that if we're getting on a plane tonight, we're not flight Yeah. We're not flying out at four am.
Yeah, exactly.
So one of the other options is, why does it have to be a five minute overtime in the regular season? Sure, you do have long road trips in the NBA. Who's to say the next aren't. I mean it happens to be at DC tonight, but the next playing an overtime game in any particular city have to get on a flight tonight and go to the next city. Why does it have to be a five minute overtime?
I mean, what would you put it? The let's get to a.
Point something less than five?
Yeah, I mean, like as most and see if you're looking at box scores all the time as you're doing the updates, when it happened most most overtime periods, the final score of the overtime is something like eleven or four. Oh, it was a tie game, and then throughout that ten minute period the better team stretched out an eight point lead.
I don't mean we don't need it. I'm just thinking, we have all these conversations while there's too many threes, there's too much of this, too much of that. Well, as terrible as a game.
That Seattle and Chicago was on Thursday, night, there was still a multiple opportunities.
For game winning drives.
Yeah, when they gave plays that could have swung the you know, the win loss records of either team.
Obviously Chicago playing for nothing, Seattle for a playoffs, all that be damned.
The game, which was terrible objectively, had an opportunity for the losing team to win it on the last possession.
And that is what we're here for.
In sports point cap for an NBA game, if it went into effective, you're the guy that gets to set the point gap, Steve, what do you got I say one?
I say first team to won ten.
Well, the elam ending also has to do with where the game is at the time. It's not a number that's set before.
So it was like if you.
Had a like it was let's just say apothetically, it was like thirty plus thirty four or what was ever, what was the amount you had to score?
You've had a.
Five point lead going in, then you only had to score thirty more points and the other team had to score thirty eight more points something like that.
No, I get a set number of minutes left. Okay, now we know your target score. Hit that score, you would it?
No, I get all that I'm talking about, no matter how much times left in a game, because that would help with travel, that would help with time because that would help. So if the cap is one twenty or one ten and you hit one ten with four to twelve left in a game, game over, a first team to one ten game over, doesn't matter if there's still.
Time left on the clock.
I would just like to see some of Corkyan NBA do like that, because once again, these games are drawing out and you're watching teams give up one hundred.
And thirty points.
Last night we had the Cleveland game that was one forty nine to one thirty five.
Come on, like, come on, what are we doing? That's my thing? Man, put a cap on it. Put a point cap on it.
By the way, that was a forty eight minute game. Cleveland from three point range was twenty three for forty eight.
Geez.
Now, I hate to play TV executive.
The only problem with your idea now there's a varying number of commercial breaks and that's hard to sell.
I'm not mad at that, But don't say you hate to play TV executive because you want to be one really bad one.
Now, No, I don't, oh, I thought you did, You said you did.
No, I said, the day I care about TV ratings will be the day I am a TV executive.
So that's why I'm like it.
If only five million people watched the NBA's I mean, I'm like supposed to.
You know, the next of one in overtime, it's over.
Beat the Wizards. Congratulations win Wizard.
John Brunson with fifty five and it took a double Nickel Jordan.
It took him what fifteen minutes to score five points in overtime and an overtime period? All right, coming up next, we'll play a game of who you Got with our producer Patrick Sweaker, Martin Owis's BJ HOUSEKEI Fox Sports Radio Comedy Lot in the Tirax studios is It's Martin Weiss and VJ.
Husky And now it's time for a game of who you Got?
All right, everybody, you know it's time for the Sensation sweep in the nation. It is time for who you Got with Martin, VJ and me producer Patrick. And with that going, we're gonna go with the first theme of this and this one is actually a Mary Max special for this one's who you Got? Oh yes, we're going with Mary's addition on this one. So this man, he is a two time Pro Bowler and he has also made second team All Pro one time in his career. He is a super Bowl champion where he has won a super Bowl before, so super Bowl winning team. And then for number three on this, I'm gonna say that he in college made first team All SEC and second team All SEC one time and even made consensus All American one times. With that said, Martin and VJ, who you got? Thank you Mary?
All right, so this is Mary mac then this guy has to be relevant currently Mary max football now started week one and to her.
Credit, and he's probably gotta be.
Foying when he started listening off two time Pro Bowl, one time second team All prols like stop the fights, Jalen hurts.
Yeah if football champ?
Yeah no, but okay, So so those are the two I think parameters there.
So look we're looking for a guy under thirty five and who played the SEC. Also gotta think gotta be a star. You know what, I'm gonna go.
Super Bowl champions. That's the thing I was about to say A J. Brown, he was all that you see a few times. Go ahead, you can with your guests.
Hmmm, super Bowl Champ SEC, super Bowl Champ SEC, SO Chiefs, Philly Rams.
Bucks. Oh do you need more of another? Hint here? No, I want to take a stab out of guy. I'm making y'all to Mike Evans. But I love it. That's what I was gonna say. You just talking about?
Next hint?
He is a former first round pick, and you know what, I'll even give you the fun fact just for free. He played four different positions in high school running back, tight end, defensive tackle, and linebacker.
There's it's not Travis Kelsey because more than a second team All Pro University of Cincinnati. So it's not him.
He is not Isaiah Cheko. Played at Ruts Nope, Big ten.
Stupid uh SEC team Clyde Edwards, but I love it.
Second team All Pro Kareem Hunt.
No, all right, I'll give you the college he played for role Tad Alabama.
He's a Chad brother.
He said he played he played running back, tight end. Get rid of all. Agree that that's not gonna help us?
All right? You know what?
Then he's a defensive player. He's not an offensive guy. I think, who does Mary Mack like? You could have just based that. I think we're focusing too much on that. It's not she didn't do that would have been too easy.
He's it is a guy that played in the a f C East.
An a FC East guy, and who's a super Bowl Champions.
Of Super Bowl champion in a FC East. I was not talking about He's saying he played Von Miller. Nope, super so the super Bowl champion that played Who's went from the Chiefs to the Bills recently or the Chiefs to the Dolphins. Maybe John new Smith.
I don't know.
Nope, do we give.
What you got?
His name is Daunte Hi to what I told you, had nothing to do with Mary Win win Win no matter what, You've never mentioned Dante Hi tower fan you are, I'm Marymac I'm sure, and you never said he was falling right exactly? Who know?
Apparently the internet is broken.
Martin Wise Videowski broadcasting live from the tirack dot com studios.
Tyrack dot com will help you get there.
With an unmatched selection, fast free shipping, freeriald has a protection and over ten thousand recommended in his dollars.
Ti rack dot com.
That's the way tire buying should be in this right, here is the way that sports talk radio should be Martin and VJA on a Saturday night. So this is this is going to bother me. This is going to this is going to bother for hours. And it's not because I didn't get it.
Yes, it is.
I don't understand on this segment.
I'm not Martin handling this how.
Because because I so, Okay, so we got Dante haiital right, that was the answer that he wanted to get. Patrick's Turnermichael for a second, Mary mac I asked her, because Mary Mack, like I said, I've given her a ton of credits. When she walked in the door, she couldn't tell you which end of the football was pointing up.
Now she's not only does she not only does she know football, she's been debuting takes on Sunday.
I have been like, you know what I'm saying. So I give her a ton of credit.
But when you hear Dante Heithouer, who's been retired for years now from the NFL, I wonder, okay, Mary, how did you stumble across this player? Because it's not in your like the way that you've been lying at the first.
How did you come to that I just get Tower.
So Mary says she, Well, what I did was like google twenty twelve Heisman finalists.
Picked the name, and I just picked the name.
And so now I'm in my head like, hold on a second, did I miss something? Because Dante hot Tower was not a twenty twelve Heisman finalist.
He was drafted in twenty twelve thirteen.
Last season, Colls was twenty eleven. And don't get me wrong, wasn't all American had a hell here he's he was.
He was the man on that defense.
I don't couldn't imagine he was in the also receiving votes category. I didn't get it. Get one or two. All you need is one and you're considered. Is that what it is? That a barrier?
Yeah? You just need one vote?
Need one. They'll list the top ten guys because remember this year they released six to ten. Once we knew what the four was gonna be. Okay, they released the totals with the six to ten. We'll fit because the Army quarterback, Uh, the Army quarterback finished seventh or something like that. The Army of the Navy quarterback when it because they said it during the Army Navy game I'm listening to the Nestler and I mean listen to the Nessler do the call, and they talked about He's like, yeah, well he finished, he finished sixth and the HIGs and voices are fifth and highs of voices. He goes, well, it gives you know. Now, they released five to ten because the other four gentlemen are gonna be in New York City and Radio City Music Hall tonight. They said that during the army naving him. That's when I found that, said, oh that's cool. Actually, like, did they do that? Give us who five through ten are right? Because they're not gonna win, and I don't care who they are anyway, but I would just like to see how people kind.
Of voted it and out for the record, According to Sports Reference dot com slash CFB Awards Heisman in twenty eleven, Tower did not receive a Heisman vote one through ten.
Russell Wilson.
Actually, I think I lied.
I think I looked up Heisman nominees that went pro and then I think that's where it still does this work?
Now if you like Google's Alabama linebackers that went pro, Oh that makes sense.
Somebody called Elon Musk whoever runs the internet. I just saw the name.
I was like, hmm, sounds it sounds like a cute guy.
And then I just look.
I told you guys that had something to do with that got be a foot. It was on a whim.
Mary Mac is trying to learn football, and now forever in her life she will think that the twenty twelve Heisman what it was the hide because that's what the internet said.
I don't think he's a winner. I just yeah, no, I don't really care.
I won who you Got?
So I'm chilling. I was about to put that in.
I was about to say, at the end of the day, should just be able to say that one time I beat at one time at band camp, I beat Martin and VJ and who you got? I listened nice one.
Nice found is fascinating how you arrived there, And then once I found out how you arrived there, found it infuriating that that's how the internet worked.
For you, gentlemen. That's how you know I really won.
But think about it, when the minute you said the minute you kept giving us the clues. I told him, I said, get get the Mary part out of our head. It's got nothing to do because Mary. For the listeners out there, Mary, I'll see certain athletes like I like a lot of people listen. I'll use the guys as a reference so people don't think I'm being sex storty thing.
There's female I called my like I call Becky hamm in my boot.
That's like my. I don't know why she thinks she's a beautiful. I think she's easy on eyes. I like looking at Becky Hammett. People do that in sports. Mary has a tendency too. And Trey Young was the first one. Is the first one that shocked all of us. She's like, oh, who that right there on the screen. I was like, Trey, Oh, he was flying. I was like, Trey Young, that's good looking at it. We had this whole back and forth about it. So when they said Mary, I'm like, Okay. As the clues came, I said, bro get Mary out of this. It's got nothing to do with No guys, you think it's cute. This apparently has got nothing to do with Just google it either, because don't they Tower's got nothing to do Ali A three off the game. We lost, man, just I just we lost.
I know it's the Winter Circle over here in this in this room.
Yeah, I thought somebody who lost that's something, or somebody who won.
I don't know.
Wow somebody wow Wow, Mary is twenty thirteen husband finalists and find the winner, because apparently it's just spitting out whatever you wanted to do it.
Everyone tweet all hashtag Mary winner.
Yeah, hashtag team Patty Mack.
All right, we have three quarterbacks in the af SHE that will qualify for the Pro Bowl. Now, I know the Pro Bowl is not what it used to be in terms of, you know, the game and all of that. What just leave that there for the moment.
It's still it's still like the initial nominees are still the guys who had the best year.
Yah. Now, you know, replacements and so on and so forth.
I don't if you were a Pro Bowl alternate, more power to you, but that is you know, I don't. You're just there if you qualify initially, go for it, so you don't really count replacements. No, all right, cool, I just want to make sure we remember that because you guys loved it. Throw on my face that Mac Jones was a Pro bowler. But guy, and he was a replacement? Well, guy, I mean, who's you?
Guys? You said it once a minute before.
Yeah, when you said all right, let's go, let's go ahead and go down the road. Since we brought it up, Yeah, I said that there was zero chance that the Patriots were going to cut or trade mac Jones in the second year of his rookie contract.
Wasn't it in part because he was a pro bowler and the runner up for Rookie of the Year on the second year of his rookie deal? Did I want to be the start of that year?
And I said there was no chance because Mike.
Florio had put out a story that said the Patriots for shopping mac Jones, And I said, there is no chance mac Jones is not a Patriot at the start of year two. And I said, sure, they could be shopping, you know, the same way you just called somebody them saying, hey what's the price?
Hey, four first round picks? All right, well I'm shopping them. I'm just not buying that bad. Yeah. I didn't want zapply to be the quarterback that year.
Now, can I talk about the current AFC Pro Bowl? We're good there, all right? Go ahead.
So you were talking about Joe Burrow, you know, potential for MVP. This is what should happen.
Your three.
Pro Bowl quarterbacks in the AFC should be as follows. Joe Burrow, who's having quite honestly, in my book, the best season of all of them when you consider all everything that's going on around him, Patrick Mahomes, who has lost let me count wait one game all season, right, and then Lamar Jackson. I think, look Josh Allen, while I agree with his MVP candidacy and think he should be the favorite at the moment.
That's different to me than Pro Bowl.
And when you look at the stats of all these guys, it's really only equal his stats. Joe Burrow's got I mean, way more touchdowns, you know, two more interceptions, but way more touchdowns, higher completion percentage, throwing from more yards a game. Lamar Is obviously you add in the rushing component to this, which I'm not even doing, but he's got a way higher completion percentage, much higher passer rating, way more touchdowns, that's including the including rushing touchdowns, got way more touchdowns, and then throwing for more yards per game than Josh Allen Is. That's something different when we're talking about the three quarterbacks having the best quote unquote year than the MVP, and I'm fine with that, and I think Joe Burrow, in my opinion, needs to be the highest. If you were ranking your Pro Bowl quarterbacks in the NC, Joe Burrow would be number one with a by a mile this season.
But that's why I say that's what he needs to be m v P.
I can't do because you lost too many games.
I'm not mad. I'm not mad at Burrow and Al Jackson being Pro bowlers. Mahomes, you would have to push out and put in my man Apple turnover. Allen gotta put Josh in and Mahomes has to be out. I don't, I mean, I don't care me game, your team's one. The Pro Bowl is about individual well which one okay, because they have the same number of passing touchdowns. This my Homes throws for more yards per game and a higher completion percentage, and it's passer rating is right is right around here, so he doesn't who has the most total passing Joe Burrow does least the league. So we're not we're talking about Burrow, We're talking about Alan and Mahomes. All I'm talking talking about my bad Allen and Mahomes. Uh hm, I just I would slide. I would slid Mahomes out and slide and slide Allen because you're because Alan's not a top three quarterback in the ANFC, the Pro ball, but he should win. The MVP is the best player in the league.
Yeah, I think those are two separate things.
And I think that No, absolutely, you can have a better individual season and not be the most valuable player on your.
Team, but the But the MVP has got to be a pro bowler. The MVP has got to be a pro bowler. If you're leading in the clubhouse in week seventeen as the MVP, you are definitely the top pro bowler, if not one of the top two or three pro bowlers. That's why I say Mahomes has to go out and Alan has the going because people are telling me all week long filling in here that he's the leader in the clubhouse as the pro as the MVP.
Because he's the most valuable player in the NFL has got to be and at this moment, I think.
He's the most valuable player in the NFL.
Okay over Borrow, over Borough, Joe Burrow has a thirty five percent chance to make the playoffs. Right now, I'm not doing this NBA thing or a Major League Baseball thing.
We're talking about how Mike Troussel was valuable. The Angels are roun about five hundred doing that. Either when I am doing is I'm looking at the totality. Burrow is working with a horrible defense, a whole coaching situation like Burrow, a kicker that that.
Misses thirty two yard field goals.
And Josh Allen is working with a good running game, a great defense, a stable coach. Weapons on Amari Cooper received like Amari Cooper has had you know me Targets had the last te week. You know he's he's been something happened there. Yeah, you're right, I do. He's been an zero. You're right.
Olman's been hurt all year. And James Cook was there before.
The defense Jennison players why receive Stefan Diggs going all like tight ends are still there, but most of the offensive line is still there. Gave Davis was the other wide receiver. He's in Jacksonville like this Baltimore. I mean, sorry, this Buffalo team is retooled around Josh Allen.
I just still think Burrow's having just an MVP styles season.
But we did that. Have we did that all rating record to have them to be the MVP?
All right? I mean it's nothing I can really rebuttal against because you can't like, you can't win the MVP at five and twelve or I get that, are six and eleven, Okay, cool, I get that. But like I said, if somehow they make it to the playoffs, then I don't want to hear about the record.
They were dead in the water.
And the reason why we're on wild Card Saturday, Wildcard Weekend, crazy Weekend, whatever crazy marketing name they'll give it. This year, the only reason why we're talking about the Cincinnati Bengals is because of the guy that plays quarterback. Nobody else, everybody else is better because that man's on the field.
Period.
We're also the only reason we're talking about the Cincinnati Bengals in this way is because in the first game of the year, that guy at one hundred and sixty four yards pass year against what would turn out to be one of the worst teams in the NFL, the New England Patriots.
If they just win that game, they're in the playoffs.
Now we're not talking about how they got to do all this and do all that and you can directly point to one of the reasons why, and I'm the biggest Joe Burrow Faniel find I think he, like I said the start of this program or sart to the segment, rather was the idea that he should be the highest vote getter in the Pro Bowl for the AFC.
So I'm not knocking them. It's just you can't be the MVP when your team has eight losses. It's just I can't do it.
I don't get it.
I don't care if he averaged a triple double. Russell Rustbrook, he's a five seed. Like some of the the winning has to matter in that regard.
When it comes to the Pro Bowl.
You got proh what'sh I bet you goodness Cleveland past runer, Miles Miles Garrets. Miles Garrett's gonna be a Pro Bowler. Cleveland's terrible, right, terrible? That that's what the Pro Bowl is for. The MVP value has to equal winning coming up and.
Just real fast, less interceptions, better QBR, better quarterback rating Josh Allen over Pat Momes, less interceptions same as touchdowns twenty six twenty six, less interceptions, better QBR, better rating, and just what yards what's the difference in yards we have thirty thirty nine twenty eight as opposed to thirty five, thirty five to forty nine, and more rushing yards than Pat Mahomes by a mile touchdowns.
He's my MVP favorite and Mahomes is nowhere near it.
That's fine for MVP, but but how doesn't that guy make the Pro Ball?
That's all I'm saying. That's why because there are.
Three quarterbacks in the AFC having a better statistical year that I just thought was an interesting thing. Yeah, no, no, no, it's definitely a great talking point because I feel where some of your points are.
But I did. If Josh Allen is the MVP, he has to be in the Pro Bowl, Like I just, I could never see a world where the MVP guy didn't get on the Pro Bowl in any major league sport MLB and HL not. No, if you're in the clubhouse for the MVP, you definitely are on the all start team mark.
Well, then the problem we should be re evaluating who the favorite for the MVP is because there's we're looking at three quarterbacks.
Quand the other day everybody scoffed at me, says say Kwan should be the leader in the clubhouse. But you know, going for a Russian record, you know, turn this offense completely around one year.
So anyway, but you know, well, we'll see how it all pan.
This is. This is I'll write this down because I definitely want to revisit this one the Pro Bowl.
It'll be interesting to see what they know.
I'm just saying, it'll be interesting to see the three quarterbacks that because one of these guys are going to get left out. You agree, right, guys that literally one has one getting left out, so you think it's Allan. I would leave out Josh Allen.
Okay, you leave out Josh Allen. I'd leave out Josh Allen to Pro Bowl. I have no problem with him being the favorite for MVP. Those two ideas may feel like they don't jive, but when you look at the other guys who would be up, the only one to me that has an argument for MVP, I'll just say this, Joe Burrow has no argument for MVP for me. That's the difference. Like Mahomes, I don't think he has a great argument. But if you wanted to really paint a picture, I'd listen to you. Lamar kind of shame story. I don't think he has a great argument. Even though he's having a better year than last year, that's not the best argument to why he needs to win the MVP this year. Maybe it says something about what happened last year in the voting, you know, and in that regard.
But I find it.
Hard for Lamar not to be in this thing because they got to play these last two games.
They can't sit.
Lamar is gonna play. I'm not saying ay none touch is only four picks and four thousand yards. He's gonna throw forty.
My only my take is if you're telling me the main reason why Lamar Jackson should be the MVP is because he's having a better year than he had in his last season, which was the MVV season last year. But that just it's what that does, just quickly, it's silos on him, and it ignores the fact that what if somebody else across the league had a year quadruple what Lamar did the year prior. Just because the year MVP this because last ye's MVP he had a better year than he had this year, doesn't mean that somebody else didn't have a better year than last year's MVP did too, Like that's you'd be.
Hard pressed to find a quarterback just having a better year than Lamar Jackson though the statistic and by tape statistics and by tape.
I can tell you buy one by status. What means Joseph Burrow, it's just oh two against.
Them, right, I mean all right?
Coming up next, VJ. Let me to challenge at the start of bowl season. Now there is a caveat here. He has not been able to watch every bowl game. I'm like four games down right now, So we'll take those four games out. We are gonna ask some interesting questions about this game he said he's watched, because he said he watched them DVR king, he says, we'll do that. Coming up next, diving this war college football talk and see if Colorado gets up off the mat.
Martin Wisse VJ.

Bej Bowl trivia.
Feel free to do so, hurry up and tweet him the answers if you see him struggling, you know, saying like, tweet.
A friend, don't do that. I don't need no help.
But let me just say this. I'm gonna tell you, don't tweet a friend make fun of him. Then if you make fun of you, let me shot up Mark and set me up. I told Martin an hour ago, Hey, I saw the run that said, look, I still want to do it because I'm committed to it. I got all my picks here in front of me, Martin, season, can we push it till next week because I'm behind on games. You know. You just hit me in the off off just from the blind side, no left tackle missed. Miles Garrett coming at me, and I'm trying to wait for this slint to clear out so I can hit the post corner. Wam out of nowhere coming up next, just like but let's but let's go. I haven't watched them all.
Let me just see how many America.
Let me just say that, man, I can get you told America, but then I told you and I said, we leave those four games out. Nah, Well you don't know what four game, and I'm not about to tell y'all. Let's just go just so right now, I did the sixteen games that have been played. I am eleven and five, so I'm I'm doing really well. I'm doing really well. I'm proud of all right, those some questions at me? Man?
What you got?
There was a record set in the Holiday Bowl played at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California.
Do you know what that record was? What game was it?
Give me two teams, Syracustan Washington State. Oh, the Syracusean Washington State game? Yes, I do. The record was cal McCord's passing yards record.
Broke the ACC single season record. There we go, all right. The longest Bowl game so far this season was what uh that was?
Toledo Verse pick bonus point if you know how many overtimes it was? Six?
Absolutely another bonus point if you remember where it was.
Or the name the game above Sports Bowl.
Air Torres made fun of that, Dame. I mean, the Game above Sports not a buzz that was like a boneus bonus. I think it's a buzz for that. But that's fine. You feel yourself, all right? Come on, give me another one. Okay, all right. The starting quarterback from this team transferred to Duke and did not play in their bowl game.
They lost to a Florida team. God, I know this, Okay, Yeah, I noticed, I know.
I noticed. There was a South Florida. South Florida played San Jose State. Their coach was now the new coach. That was the Hawaii Bowl. Their new coach used to coach Army or Navy. Don't used to coach Navy.
Damn, I know this trans yeah, transferred out.
It's not. It's not, it's not. It's not. Auburn quarterback, all right, damn oh Man tu Lane starting quarterback Darian meant to transferred to Duke.
Twu Lane lost to Florida. Florida lost the floor thirty three to eight. Alright, that just a little bit.
I didn't have a lot, just a little bit. She just wanted to really look it was.
It was.
It was one of the womans keeping you honest. Don't worry, America. I'll keep him honest. He came out here and making nobody keep me on. You just want to see me to make sure me another one another one. We got thirty more seconds. Don't want more on me, I feel like I one more Okay, we have thirty more seconds. Give me a who played in one of the Hawaii Bowl. Oh? The Hawaii Bowl was South Florida against San Jose State And I just watched this game the other night. Who won?
I know because you said Tiffany Green was the first eight yes to call the game, black.
Woman to call the game.
Uh, how's this state?
No?
South Florida five overtimes? A Coming up next in just a moment, we'll have JD. Pakel College Football Insider on on three and for Fox Sports Radio.
Let's see what all questions he may have.
For VJ, we'll have some questions for him about college football playoff and all the balls we've seen today Colorado. I asked if they're gonna get up the mat, and it seems like the answer might be no. As a BYU celebrating on the sideline, Steve de Seger will update you on what they're celebrating about and everything else in the world of sports.
Steve, you're up.
In a few minutes. That's gonna be a hard No. It's BYU thirty three seven over Colorado with under ten minutes to go at the Alamo Bowl, and a late night game is nearing halftime at the Independence Bowl. Number twenty two ranked Army now leads twenty one to three over Louisiana Tech. Already, we've had Bowl victories for Connecticut and Nebraska. For TCU and Miami, Ohio. East Carolina scored late on a long run to beat NC State twenty six twenty one Iowa State one in Orlando forty two to forty one over Miami. Now to tonight's NFL game in La and the Rams lead is ten to nine over the Arizona Cardinals. You see, Arizona had a great drive to start the second half, scored and the extra point kick was blocked, so they're down one against the Rams thirteen minutes left in the fourth quarter. Poka Nakua with eight receptions one hundred five yards for the Rams. Trey McBride had the TD for Arizona, his first of the year. He has ten catches ninety nine yards. Cincinnati in overtime defeated Denver thirty to twenty four. T Higgins had eleven catches one hundred and thirty one yards, three for touchdowns, including the game winner. Joe Burrow threw for over four hundred yards and Denver failed to clinch a playoff spot. Tonight, the Chargers clinched a playoff berth today, winning easily at New England forty to seven. Justin Herbert three touchdown passes, two to Lad McConkie, the rookie mccaukee eight receptions ninety four yards to a Tonga bay Low, A Dolphins quarterback with a hip injury, is doubtful for tomorrow at Cleveland, so Tyler Huntley could start. Skyler Thompson's been elevated from the practice squad. Quarterback for the Coles, Anthony Richardson is out Sunday with back and foot injuries. He missed practice all week. Joe Flacco will start at the Giants. Carolina plays running back Chewba Hubbard on injured reserve by the way. Injured Georgia quarterback Carson Beck declared for the NFL Draft to the NBA. New York's Jalen Brunson with fifty five points and nine assists in an overtime win at Washington. Knicks have won seventh straight. Oklahoma City won again. Suns are leading in the fourth at Golden State ninety seven to ninety one, with about seven and a half minutes to go. In college hoops, u CLA over Gonzaga sixty five sixty two. NHL LA Kings in overtime defeated Edmonton for to three. Carolina a five to two winner against New Jersey.
Back to you, thanks.
Steve Martin vide. Coming to you lot from the Tirack dot com studio. Its is time to introduce our next guest, j D Patel. You can catch them on social media at j D Pickel and see his show The Hard Count on YouTube anytime twenty four to seven. It's always up, j D.
How you doing, buddy number one?
I'm doing phenomenal. Number two, Martin wife, with the biggest victory of the entire bowl season thus far. Congratulations, I mean covered the spread with ease I took. I parload it with the money line. Uh big, congrats to see my friend of the engagement.
I appreciate that.
I appreciate that, and you, you and several other people appreciated my caption which was victory formation as I took the knee, you know, running the clock out krimp.
Yeah, I'm hanging them up. JD. Thanks appreciate you.
That heart's just broke all over America here and oh yeah, Martin. Martin's off the market. Damn ladies.
Millions of Americans shut their radios off. And I'm just joking, we.
Just lost so many fans.
Jd. Uh.
You know, last week VJ went on this this this tirade about how we just had to make sure we got to get the Stars and the play itoffs. I'm watching this team led with stars. The College out of Buffalo is getting wa wah wah wah wopped by b YU right now, and we've seen some pretty lopsided reactions in some of these non college football balls.
Does this change any.
Of your opinion that we saw from last week, which was, hey, let's we got to try to engineer better games here?
You know it doesn't, because I think so much of the bowl week, especially when you're getting ready for the Valero Alamobile or the Pop Tards bull or the FRS distribution. But like I just think, I think the and it's nobody wants to say this, but like the quiet part out loud is like the motivation factor probably isn't there like it would be if you're playing the college football playoff game. So I think going back to that conversation around engineering better playoff games, I don't even fault the committee for the teams they put in. I fought the system for us having twelve teams, and I fault the system for us saying we got to have this specific team from this specific conference because that's the way the autobids work out. Like, I think that's the whole discussion I'd rather revisit when it comes to the playoff, Like Colorado getting molly walked by BYU. Is it a bad look? Sure to play as hour tape in your mouth if you're a Colorado fan, of course, But like I don't think anybody's questioning what Travis hundred this year or the year coach prime At and Shure Sanders like, horrible look, horrible weight.
To end the year.
But I don't think it should be tracked from their season or overall like what they could have been if they were to make the college football playoff.
Man JDVJ.
Bright Osgar, how you doing, brother, how's the new addition to the family, And how's the missus?
Man, how's everything going at home.
Man, I appreciate you asking phenomenal. The whole season is surgeon through. I'm excited for her to get her first look at, hopefully some more competitive college football playoff games. Like I'm introduced my baby girl last week, and she's like, she's fired up for Notre Dame Indiana, right, and she's expecting a great game. And it's like, I mean, imagine the letdown. That's your first college football playoff game. So I think we're gonna circle the wagons. But no, man, all is all is good at home.
I was about to say, your daughter is she's pissed at your dad? Are you serious?
This what you do?
You get me all warm bottle of milk and some warm wipes, and this is what you showed. Laid me down to my bats and that and showed me damn you dad. But anyway, man, talk about blowouts. I told Martin to won a commercial break. I think two of these games are gonna be blowfs coming up. And I'm looking at Texas Arizona State, and I'm looking at surprisingly Norder Dane over Georgia. There's two picks. I'm going I think Texas just has too many Jimmies and Joe's. They could they could beat everybody but Georgia, right, and they're probably not gonna have to plan if they have to play again, it's gonna be the national championship since they're in opposides of the bracket. But I think two of these games are gonna be blows. Arizona States had a nice, like you know, I say, cute s little season, okay, and they got you know, running back, They got you guys, But Texas got you know, these Jimmies and Joe's. Georgia, Nordre Dane, Georgia, we've just seen them start slow way too many times. Nordre Dane's physical that put you in the mouth. You and I talked last week. Says something's different about Marcus Freeman. His face, his demeanor, the way he talks to sideline interviews. You could tell this team's locked in bad loss September seventeenth against Northern Illinois that needed over time to beat Fresno State in the Boise State potato ball, right, and then they went on to beat everybody by thirty seven on average, and no one said a word about them. Two blow out games are the two one picking man you see any blowouts. Are you agree with those two?
I'm with you.
I mean I think those two over by the third quarter, and it's I mean, it's unfortunate. Like the first round of games, we see these seven and a half point spreads, eight and a half point spreads, and I think a couple of us kind of like raised our eyebrows and like, all right, but you know, Indiana's getting it up, like hey, SMU, they're they're bringing it up for this one.
And then it was just, I mean, getting.
That match by the second quarter feels like a similar vibe with Texas and Arizona State. It feels like a similar vibe with Boyds State and Penzac. I don't see a world where Boyiser State is able to be multiple enough to keep abdual Carter at bay. And then I did a sudden that day, like I mean, they just speak of a baby girl. I had to take her out of the room after SMU.
Was for you, your good father, good for you.
You are you cannot watch this, this is inappropriate. The Notre Dame situation is super interesting because I echo everything you just said about Notre Dame and Marcus Freeman. I think, honestly the discussion around him becomes really interesting. If that Ohio State job becomes open in a year or two or even after this year, who knows what's going to happen here in this this you know, next next few months. The thing that makes me concerned about Notre Dame as it pertains to Georgia is I think Georgia has a ton of urgency right now. I mean, lose your starting quarterbacks. You know, you kind of limp into the playoff with the way you look against Texas, and you know you won the SEC, but you know you had to come from behind and overtime, and the secondary has been challenged, and I think just so many times this year, and just with Kirby Smart having twenty plus days, I just I wonder a little bit if that Georgia team isn't going to have a little bit of their their own taste of their blood in their mouths from that SEC title game with you know, a backup in the game urgent George is danger is dangerous Georgia. We saw that against Actually they lose to Alabama, they go out and then roll through Texas. They lose the old miss that roller Tennessee. So I think they'll respond in a really emphatic way. I actually think Georgia finds a way to get that done. But exact same time, I'll straddle the fence here and say it wouldn't surprise me if that got it done either.
Now, tell me what do you expect to see out of Gunner stocked in the backup quarterbacks from Georgia. And I preface this with VJ and I were on the air for probably what would you say, five Georgia.
Games, Yeah, and a bunch of them, and I would.
Be standing on my chair yelling Carson Beck is barely a college quarterback.
Hey, don't tell me, because I just assumed.
That everybody obviously's hurt now, But you know, I assumed all summer i'd be hearing about like Carson Beck was quietly climbing up draft boards like Will Levis before him. Uh So tell me what I'm expect this he out of Gunner Stockton, because I don't think it's far fetched. If you tell me that this kid was, you know, five star and all of that, then we might see better quarterback play out of Georgia than we did all year.
I mean, I think he doubles down more into what if I'm a Georgia fan, I want to see, like we think about those Georgia national title teams, like Stetson Bennett kind of evolves as that second national title one. It had a great year, but like that first year, we're all like, gosh dang, can they win inspite of Stetson Bennett. I think it'll be a lot of run the gosh darn football, play, great defense. Hey, everybody, we need more from you because we have a backup quarterback in the game. And just go back to what I said, Like, I just I think there's a certain fire that this Georgia team has that you can't really quantify or spot on film. But like just seeing him go into the game against Texas when they were down, mind you, Like it wasn't like he had to hold that they were down, I had to go find a way to win. Seeing him have his head separated from his body in overtime and have him pick himself up, I'm sure I'm pretty sure he was unconscious based on watching that replay, pretty sure had to pick himself up, brought off the sideline, get helmet back on. Like I just, I think there's so much moxy with him and then you pair that with what you just said Martin, Like we're talking about, you know what, Carson Beck was supposed to be the draft prospect and we got this backup guy. It's like dinner. Stock is not Rudy, you know, like he can still throw the ball downfield a little bit if they help him out in the run game. So I think it'll be a condensed, more north south version of Georgia's offense. But I think just what you said, like Georgia's had what B minus quarterback play all year long and won the SEC. I think I talked with the from Understockton, and I think it might be more of what they need and less of what they want.
So let's go with this Ohio State game as fasts mcain Ohio State Oregon at something.
I hate to say this, and you know how I am man.
You know, I'm big.
House and arbor, Hail, hell go Blue, all of that, bro.
But they probably should have been him the first time neutral Phield out here in the Rose ball. Gonna be a beautiful day, nice weather. I'm almost leaning Ohio State.
Man.
They do have the better players, and if they get the ball on the outside like they didn't do it against Michigan. Don't try to prove that they can out physical Oregon. They could get this, dub Man, I just don't know. I just don't know, JD if I really believe in Orgon you and I talked about this off the record. I just don't know if I really believe in Oregon. Brother, that's fair.
I think that's a fair take to have it. I think it is also like the way of perfection around Oregon, which you're you want to handle that. I'll say this because I've been the Will Howard guy all year long.
Run Howard's good enough.
On a national title. I think that if if Ohio State hadn't played so well against Tennessee, if they won that game and it's twenty seven to twenty four, Ohio State walks it off at home and they find a way to advance, I think I like Ohio State a lot more. What I think Ohio State did by beating Tennessee by that margin has everybody picking them, and they've got the spread favoring.
Them and a half.
I think Dan Lanning has got all that he needs, and I think that Oregon actually beat him a second time.
I really do quickly.
If Oregon beats him a second time. Your best bet right now is Ryan Day, the head coach at Ohio State the start of next season.
No, but not because he's fired. I think he says, forget this, I'm going to go be a coordinator. I'll go take another job. I think he just says, I'm out of this thing.
Man.
I appreciate y'all, but I'm going to go have a better life and coach football.
You've been on since the Michigan Laws.
Yeah, you've been saying that for the last month. That'd be. That'd be hilarious start.
I mean the portal itself will be nuts. Yeah, that would That's my that's my take.
I think that's what happens.
Well, JD if you if it happens, we'll make sure everybody knows you heard it here first Ja Deep catch them on YouTube on three page, the Hard Counts the show, Jay DEEPA Kells the social media page. Thanks for coming on the show, my guy, appreciate you.
Appreciate you, God bless man.
Happy happy New year. Brother.

Your Kobe I mean podcast. Apparently I'm tuddling little. You'll see something posted right we get up there. Probably this show posted right after we get.
Off the air, coming up next by this time next week, Marty BJ Fox Sports Radio. You know it's all over, but the final score now for the Colorado Buffaloes. And you see an emotional Shaduor Sanders on the sideline with a towel over his head, being comforted by his offensive coordinator, Pat Schirmer. Here on Fox Sports Radio, Martin Weiss VJ Husky sitting here for just a little while longer till we have the best college football wrap up show in America. That's Aaron Torres and Jason Martin. They'll be following us shortly here. All in all, all things considered, an exceptional sophomore campaign for coach Prime at the University of Colorado, an exceptional senior year for Shador Sanders and Travis Hunter. And honestly, if you see anybody taking him to tasks for being upset about this.
I have no problem with my quarterback.
You know, it's covering his face and what will be his last college football game of all time.
I think that means, it means a little, more means.
It does mean a lot to him. And that's just the year. I'll say it differently. I'll say it more me and Martin's nice. I'm not if you're gonna get on him or try to take him the task for showing some damn emotion which we ask these players to have and that we want out of them. You guys get mad when they stand at podiums and they just give you basic answers. But when they give you real life emotion, which real human beings. If you cut a skin, we all bleed red blood. If any of you guys are gonna do that, your jerk, it's stupid. Go like, Go get a hug bro Go get a burger in a milkshake or something. Go go to Disneyland. That's what you need to do, because they pump something into the air. Because that is the happiest damn place on earth. I feel great when I walk through the doors and I mat Disney all the time.
Nobody makes me bleed my own blood.
Oh God, I love that. I love that.
By this time next week, By this time next week, you'll hear rumblings, maybe about a Thursday Friday feeling on this one, rumblings at Todd Bull's job is not safe. After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lose tomorrow to the Carolina Panthers outright as eight point favorites and basically burn away any chance at the NFC South, By.
This time next week, the College Football Playoff Final four would be dex Cis, Penn State, Notre Dame in Ohio State, which means the Big Ten got two teams into the final four. By this time next week, I know this, I'll be talking about the potential. How funny will it be if Penn State wins the national Championship? Right? It will be hilarious. So I will sit and point and laugh at all of you because you all wanted this twelve teams, and now we have to deal with it. By this time next week, the NFC Playoffs will be all in concrete and set. As I believe that the Washington Commanders will take a Jalen hurtless team in Philly to task tomorrow and get that dub and secure the last playoffs spot in the NFC.
Ooh, if that's the case, then I'll go ahead and said, by this time next week, we will have yet another Nick Sirianni apology for what. I'm not sure yet, but I guarantee you it's coming out by Tuesday morning.
By this time next week, the Sacramento Krings will know how dumb they were for firing Mike Brown and Aim and Doug Christy the interim coach. There are games this week, Mass Sixers, Grizzlies have fun.
By this time next week, it'll be it will be go from speculation to a pure brown fact, very much like Zach Wilson. Remember years years ago in the draft it was a fact he was going number two to the Jets, and we were debating everywhere else. It will be a fact soon that Shador Standers will be a New York Giant.
By this time next week, it will be real, legitimate conversation that mister Joe Burrow is in the clubhouse and the talk two for the MVP.
And then when the Bengals lose by that time the week after, he'll.
Be right back here about next week.
Don't try to jump two weeks ahead. He'll be right back out of the clubhouse. That's right.
That is a little bit of dirty pool by me. My bad, but I had to go ahead and do it.
