If you’ve ever wondered what makes a spiritual leader steady when pressure hits, 1 Peter 5 has a bracing answer: it starts long before the crisis, and it starts in the heart. We walk with Dr. Timothy Mann through Peter’s counsel on biblical leadership, and we get clear on something many churches blur: titles do not create authority, character does. Elder, bishop, and pastor are not competing “ranks” but Scripture’s different angles on one calling, spiritual maturity, real responsibility, and shepherd-hearted care for God’s people.
