Allyson Gofton may be the very first food influencer. Best known for Food in a Minute, a one minute cooking show that played right before the six o'clock news for 13 years!
Her latest cookbook Give is out this Friday, full of recipies designed to be given as gifts. Inspired by a group of women celebrating their journeys through breast cancer, Allyson teamed up with Breast Cancer Cure to create the book along with NZ fashion designers and Breast Cancer Cure Ambassadors. The book is full of recipies from Allyson, alongside special appearances by Dame Trelise Cooper, Petra Bagust, Antonia Prebble, and more!
In the episode Allyson chats with Suzanne Paul and Andrew Papas about how she created Food in a Minute and the huge impact it had on home cooks in New Zealand, her time spent living in rural France with her family, and how much the cooking scene has changed in her time in the industry.
