Left handed relief pitcher Tim Mayza with the Toronto Blue Jays is a daunting closer despite recent adversity. In 2018 he underwent Tommy John Surgery, more formally known as ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) reconstruction. This procedure is used to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament inside the elbow. After 18 months of recovery Mayza is still throwing strikes in the MLB, dropping in his 90+ sinker. He chats with host Lindsay Berra about how he approaches the game today and what he's learned from his physical and emotional challenges. As one of our most popular episodes we wanted to share it again. Part 2 of a 2 part episode.
