Alpine ski racer Steven Nyman has been on the US Ski Team since 2004. He credits his training, nutrition and learning to recover from injuries for his longevity in this high-speed downhill game. At 6'4'' and 220lbs Steven is built to glide. He grew up in Sundance, Utah and was skiing at age two and racing at age eight (while mowing Robert Redford's lawn in the summer), not far from his home and where his dad was the ski school chief. A four time Olympian, Steven is gunning for the games in Beijing. Lindsay catches up with him in Banff, Canada for the first World Cup of the season. They talk about Steven's childhood, how his dad brought he and his brothers into racing, and how he decided to face his fear at 60+ mph and conquer Kitzbühel, the super bowl of ski racing.
