Swedish-born Petter Hörnfeldt was bitten by the aviation bug as a teenager, eventually securing his place in a government sponsored training course at just 17. Following his military service, Petter was soon in the cockpit of the mighty Boeing 737-800, eventually clocking up more than 10,000 hours in command of the iconic aircraft. After a number of years as an instructor, Petter found a niche but passionate audience online, and now shares his wisdom and analysis on aviation incidents through his popular MentourPilot social media channels.
In this episode, Richard and Petter discuss a number of issues currently at the forefront within the aviation industry, including pilot mental health, passenger safety, and the impact of technology.
