Longtime and well-known Central Florida WESH 2 News Anchor Wendy Chioji passed away Monday night. The 57-year-old Orlando news woman had battled breast cancer since 2001. She reported on many stories for WESH over the years, including the space shuttle Columbia disaster, the pope's visit to Cuba, political conventions, and presidential visits. Many tributes from Chioji’s colleagues and friends have appeared on social media following her passing.
