A fire line break at the Harbour Isle Estates Yacht & Racquet Club in Florida caused an underground chasm that collapsed when a resident drove over the pavement Tuesday morning, the News-Press reports. The resident's car tumbled in, rear first, when it drove over the weak spot. The accidentally man-made sinkhole caused no injuries, said Meghan Contreras, community relations coordinator for the Iona McGregor Fire District, but it did cause the evacuation of two buildings. Contreras added that a Lee County building inspector was due on-site to check the buildings.
