Longtime Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden will not be forgotten at Doak Campbell Stadium this fall. The school has planned a number of tributes to celebrate the life of the coaching legend, who roamed the sidelines in Tallahassee for 34 years. The back of every FSU player's helmet will have Bowden's signature in garnet on a white background. Each coach's shirt will also have a Bowden patch on one sleeve. On the field, the Bowden logo with his iconic hat and “Bobby” signature will be painted on each 25-yard line opposite the ACC logos. And in the south end zone, the Bowden logo will be placed over the archway behind the goal posts. Florida State opens its 2021 campaign by hosting Notre Dame on Sunday, Sept. 5.
