The man sought in the shooting death of Florida Deputy Joshua Moyers has been caught, according to Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper, the Florida-Times Union reports. Wearing an undersized T-shirt and athletic shorts, 35-year-old Patrick Rene McDowell, of Jacksonville was taken to a hospital for injuries he received during his arrest and escape. Moyers was shot by McDowell during a traffic stop last Friday morning. Moyers, whose body camera recorded the shooting, died Sunday, according to the sheriff's office. The 29-year-old deputy will be laid to rest Saturday, Leeper said.
