Supermarkets and drug stores throughout Florida have announced Covid-19 booster shots are now available to eligible individuals. Publix announced on Friday, eligible individuals could receive their Pfizer COVID-19 booster dose at Florida in-store pharmacies in Brevard, Duval, Orange, and Polk counties. Starting Saturday, all Florida in-store Publix Pharmacy locations began offering the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, according to a Publix press release. Booster doses were provided on a walk-in basis over the weekend as the vaccine became available at each store; however, appointments could also be made through the company's online reservation system for times starting Monday, according to a Publix press release.
