A beach in South Florida was closed Sunday after a person was bitten by a shark, T-C Palm reports. Martin County Fire Rescue responded to the scene at Jensen Beach Park around noon Sunday and took the victim to a local hospital, said Officer Brian Reagan. No other information about the victim and the extent of his or her injuries was readily available, Reagan said. The incident marked the sixth shark bite on the Treasure Coast so far this year.
