Florida State University President John Thrasher and his wife Jean have tested positive for COVID-19. Thrasher learned of his result Tuesday after taking a PCR test, which tests for genetic material from the virus. Jean Thrasher learned of her positive diagnosis late Monday night after a stay in the hospital and a local rehabilitation facility for an unrelated condition. The couple is isolating at home and monitoring themselves for symptoms. Both are feeling well at this time and Mr. Thrasher is working from home.
