The search for Brian Laundrie officially became a manhunt Thursday evening after the U.S. District Court of Wyoming issued a federal arrest warrant for the fiancé of homicide victim Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito, the Herald-Tribune reports. The Denver FBI office said in a tweet that the warrant is related to his activities following the death of Petito. The warrant was issued pursuant to a federal grand jury indictment, citing a violation of federal law for 'Use of Unauthorized Access Devices.' FBI Special Agent Michael Schneider said “while this warrant allows law enforcement to arrest Mr. Laundrie, the FBI and our partners across the country continue to investigate the facts and circumstances of Ms. Petito's homicide.
