According to the Palm Beach Post, Gov. Ron DeSantis said on Tuesday he will ask lawmakers to end the Florida Standards Assessment annual exams used in classrooms across the state. The Florida governor said he will support "progress monitoring" that are short and individualized check-in assessments three times per year, which is more student, teacher and parent friendly. If the Legislature agrees, the current school year will be the last for the FSA process.
