A woman who stabbed her husband to death with a kitchen knife was sentenced on Friday to life in prison.
Latoya Woodard, 36, stabbed Edwin Daniels, 35, multiple times inside their Deltona home on Howland Boulevard on April 13, 2018. Woodard was convicted by a jury in February of second-degree murder.
Jurors at the Volusia County Courthouse in DeLand deliberated for just under two hours before deciding that Woodard was guilty as charged.
Circuit Judge James Clayton handed down the sentence.
