A former Marine charged with killing four people in Lakeland early Sunday morning and severely wounding an 11-year-old girl will be held without bail. Early Sunday morning, in a North Lakeland neighborhood, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said 33-year-old Bryan Riley of Brandon, fatally shot four people, including an infant, and injured an 11-year-old girl. Riley is facing four first-degree murder charges, two charges of armed burglary with assault, seven counts of attempted first-degree murder of law enforcement officers, one second-degree arson charge, an attempted first-degree murder with a weapon charge and two charges for shooting into a building.
