They also revealed that the Blues and Thunderbirds debuted a flight formation during joint training known as the QUOTE “Super Delta," formed when six F/A-18 Super Hornets fly in a standard delta formation while three F-16 Fighting Falcon jets flank each side of them. The Blues are slated to kick off their 75th anniversary season and debut the new Super Hornets on April 17th and 18th in Lakeland.
