66: Marooned at the Teachers Strike

View descriptionShare

Pt 3 of our electoral struggle session is coming soon, but in this inaugural Dadcast, three dads (Declan, Ryan and Liam) drink coffee and get worked up about the recent strike by public school teachers in Queensland. Ryan gives an on-the-ground report from the perspective of a tired first year teacher. The dads agree, teachers on strike = good. But, the dads ponder, are the demands, and the overall organising approach of the union, sufficient for the challenges (and opportunities) facing teachers today?

AI gets excoriated. Zizek gets a mention. Hilarity ensues when Declan locks himself out of his own podcast. Hummus ASMR features.
