President Nicolás Maduro has been declared the winner of Venezuela's presidential race in a disputed election. With 80% of ballots counted, the National Electoral Council (CNE) head Elvis Amoroso, who is seen as a close ally of Maduro, announced that the incumbent president secured 51% of the vote, narrowly beating his main opponent who garnered 44%.
