Various organisations oppose Chris Brown's upcoming concert in SA

View descriptionShare

The GOOD Party has voiced its support for GBVF and women's rights activists in opposing Chris Brown's upcoming concert in the country. The party argues that Brown, with his history of violence against women, should not be allowed a platform, particularly in a country grappling with a severe GBVF crisis. This stance comes amid divided public opinion on the singer's performance, scheduled for December 14. Various organizations opposing the concert highlight Brown's history of violence, including his 2009 conviction for the assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna, as evidence of his unfitness for such an event. For more on this Elvis Presslin spoke to Kaden Arguile, GOOD Party National Youth Chairperson
