The United Unemployed Educators was expected to picket outside Parliament on Friday morning over the unemployment of teachers. This comes after Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga recently told Parliament that over 31 000 teacher posts remain vacant country wide. The top four provinces with massive vacant positions are KwaZulu- Natal, Eastern Cape, Limpopo and Western Cape.
