The trial of alleged criminal kingpin - Katiso Molefe - has been postponed to the 19th of July next year at the High Court in Johannesburg. Molefe, and his three co-accused face several murder charges relating to the fatal shooting of Oupa "Dj Sumbody" Sefoka and his two bodyguards, Vereeniging Engineer Armand Swart and Hector Buthelezi, more popularly known as Dj Vintos. Molefe is charged alongside alleged hitmen Musa Kekana, Tiego Mabusela and police officer Pule Tau. Sashin Naidoo reports.

Residents in Sandriver trust, near Hazyview in Mpumalanga have raised concerns over the shortage of water in the area. The residents say they rely on water tankers from the Mbombela Municipality. Some of the residents allege that they now have to buy water from private water tankers since the municipal one's take time to supply them with water.  They also stated that the municipal water tankers have refused to deliver in some parts of the area due to the conditions of the road. Former Vlaakplaas Commander, Eugene De Kock has blamed the NPA for the failure to prosecute TRC cases. He says that although he made it clear that he was willing to provide information on crimes committed by the Security Branch no one from the NPA ever asked him to do so. De Kok is testifying on day 99 of the TRC Cases Inquiry taking place in Newtown, Johannesburg. Busi Bopela reports
