The non-profit organization that provides free legal advice and organizing support to precarious workers says migrant workers were reportedly told not to return on the day of the marches, some receiving termination notices and left without pay or accommodation. The organisation says employers are exploiting the climate to target migrant and vulnerable workers and stressed that immigration status cannot be used to break labour law.
